So, the 4k comparison is pretty pointless seeing as I'm sure the video itself is only 1080p, or at the very least you would have to have a 4k monitor to view it.
Yeah, I tried it after the patch and same deal. Doesn't seem to stutter as often maybe, but when it does it really screws you up.
The only thing the article talks about is that SLI is broken, did the patch fix the other problems like stuttering for single gpu configurations?
And really, most games these days have enough trouble running on a single gpu, trying to get SLI going seems kind of pointless.
Lol how the hell is PSTV not Vita related? It plays Vita games, it has most of the features a Vita has, it uses Vita memory cards, it practically is a Vita.
And what more does this do than a Vita?
They have to make money somewhere? They're supposed to be making their money off games not ridiculously overpriced memory cards, but there are not many AAA games on Vita/TV, just indies and old PS1 games, so they have to make their money off absurdly overpriced memory cards. And talking about deals, this post IS a deal, $70 for a 32 gb memory card (not sure what conversion rates are). Not going to buy one off a shady person off ebay or something. And comparing that to a $15 32 gb micro SD...
I had a Vita at one point and could probably get some use out of a PlayStation TV, but the prices Sony is charging for their memory cards is completely absurd. That is the one thing that keeps me from getting one of these, I refuse to pay 70-100 bucks for a 32 gb "Vita" memory card, when a standard micro sd one costs like 15 bucks. I really think this is a big reason the Vita really hasn't taken off. Not many people buying the system, so devs really have no reason to make games ...
Definitely, and today's the last day Gamestop is offering $40, which really isn't too bad. Think I'm going to go for it. Just sad, think this could have been a game to put some time into if it just had more content.
I want a reason to play this game because I think the gameplay mechanics are really good, but can't seem to find one since I'm tired of doing the same strikes over and over and the pvp is annoying because people with higher level gear have an advantage (even with balancing they have an advantage, check out the video of the guy with the exotic primary fusion rifle). And none of my friends play it, so can't really do the weekly strikes or raid. Gamestop is offering 40 bucks for trad...
directx 12 isn't going to really do anything for Xbox, it's more for PC, I'm pretty sure Microsoft already came out and said that. Consoles already have a low level API, whereas that's what devs have been complaining about with PC is the big overhead of dx11 and the fact competition is coming out with something better (Mantle), which is why they're coming out with dx12.
Not to mention you're getting off topic anyways. It's known that the PS4 is mor...
Pretty sure if you just look at the website really quick they have a few ships listed for literally hundreds of dollars. And I'm pretty sure people have purchased said ships, sorry, "pledged" for said ships (whatever justifies throwing money away)... so I don't see how what I said is either an accusation or a "half baked opinion." And yes, you may be able to get everything with in game currency, but games like this make it to where it takes a ridiculous number of h...
So many things wrong with what you said. "120 for the head, 60 per rest of the pieces, meaning only 180 would be required." Wut? Can you not do basic math? 3 at 65, 120 for the head, that's 315 for full gear. Then seeing that marks for crucible and vanguard are maxed at 100 a week, that means you can get one item from each vendor per week, just the head piece alone will take a week and a of day minimum. That's not even counting getting legendary weapons. 3 weapons at 150 eac...
I think that's what he's saying. You should get better loot from higher levels enemies, otherwise you end up with a bunch of people shooting into a cave...
Am I the only one that has a problem with paying hundreds of dollars for a ship in a game? Not to mention you have to pay for insurance for it, otherwise those hundreds of dollars goes down the drain if you crash it. I was really excited for this game until I started reading into all of the ridiculous microtransactions. Blows my mind people are actually willing to blow tons of money on digital crap in a game.
That's cool they're finding solutions to lag from streaming games, although I don't quite get how an algorithm could ever predict a player's actions. Either way, it sounds like they're making progress with game streaming, which both intrigues and worries me. The idea is cool, but how do they offset the costs of the hardware required? Servers aren't free nor cheap by any means, and if you're offloading the processing of potentially millions of Xbox's (that peopl...
I think there are a lot of misconceptions here. For one, more cores isn't necessarily better than less cores with more power per core. Multithreading games is a really difficult task, and different threads typically don't fully utilize a core to it's fullest potential. On PC you can easily look at this by looking at a decent multithreaded game and seeing that not all cores are being fully utilized.
Also, if you don't like a keyboard and mouse use a controller....
If it's a dev kit why is it using Nvidia hardware (the notification to update drivers through Geforce Experience)?
Lol I think it showed it in the video when he calls down the missiles or whatever. He calls them in on what looks like some dude in a big mech style suit (although not nearly as big as a titan).
I really think this is due to the lack of games on these new systems. They invest money in R&D and what not in the new consoles and make their money back and their real profits from the percentage they take from game sales. Problem is, there still really hasn't been many games for either platform. Yes, they have Forza, Ryse, blah blah, but we're getting close to a year since release and still haven't seen a decent game library. I'm sure this will all turn around once fall ...
I did read it, great job jumping to conclusions. They are raising prices by 20% but getting rid of the bonus offers they usually have, which is usually quite a bit more than 20% and is what I was talking about. A 20% increase, like the article said, isn't very significant. The bonus offers are. Did YOU read the article?
Yeah, I thought that was funny too. Definitely tried to make it dramatic with a negative twist. It sounds like it's just an option for manufacturers to block out dual booting options. I'm pretty sure if you build your own PC secure boot is a bios option. I just don't see this being a problem with a PC you build yourself or maybe even manufacturers PC's, should be easy for people to find a way around it.
