Most of the so called AAA games for the BrokenBox360 are not exclusives, they are all PC games as well. PS3 has real exclusives, stuff that will sell systems. No one wants to play Bioshock on the BrokenBox when they can play it on their PC's. So you XBOTs can STFU!
The Cell puts out about 205gflops for single precision floating point operations. That is insanely fast. Video games use single precision. The reason it is so fast is that each SPE can put out about 25gflops on its own, once assigned a task, it runs automatically, freeing up the main PPE to do other things. The PPE itself is not very powerful, on the cell its used mainly as a controller, however it can be used for general processor functions, like every single ported game from PC or Xbox,...
PS3 is compatatble with any 2.5" drive moron, always has been. Go to New Egg, get the biggest drive you want, thats choice. GOD I HATE MS ZOMBIE DUMBASSES
Why do all of you Microsoft d*mb*asses keep peddling the same b*llsh*t about the PS3 that is not true. Sony never intended the Cell to do graphics. They knew cell would perform at about 200gigaflops clocked at 3.2ghz. It can get better performance clocked at 4ghz but that was never intended for use in the PS3. Do some real research you losers. Sony is not stupid, they knew that the cell would not be able to handle all the graphics, but it can assist with the graphics. The RSX has 1.8ter...
MS cant include an HD-DVD player standard. Why would they do that? To have larger storage? NO! If they do it will reneder obsolete the first 10 million 360's sold because they can;t play new larger games on the HD-DVD format. And dont give me that crap that they can release multi-DVD games. Imagine playing the next grand-theft auto that requires you to switch DVDs everytime you enter an certain area! It would be rediculous and nobody would tolerate it.
The other reason to add it...
MS is trying fix their console to better compete with the PS3, problem is if they release a version that has HDMI, it will end any doubt that MS is about supporting gamers and only about making money. They know in the long run the 360 will lose out to the PS3, so they are trying to avoid that from happening by releasing v2. The problem is when they do that they alienate the one crowd that always supported MS, the hard core gamer and the earlier adopter, who now has a piece of equipment that...
Every has their facts backwards. Sony went to the DVD forum years ago (they are the group that is responsable for DVD format standards) and told them that HD is the way to go, they were ignored. So Sony went independent with Blu-ray, and got all the studios to support them. Realizing their mistake, the forum allowed Toshiba to use the HD-DVD name for the last minute thrown together and inferior technology. Helped by M$, Toshiba is the one holding up the move to HD discs, not Sony, who was...
