In the case of Disaster Day of Crisis, it was released everywhere except the US. Nintendo of America takes quality control seriously in 2015.
They explain in the interview that they don't really have the resources to do all that. FWIW, they've already had to deal with other entities pirating and reselling their game three times over. Crazy right???
I hope Valve sees this and puts them on officially, so they don't have to worry about the Greenlight process and all that.
I wish folks who pegged this game's dev as a Nintendo dev let their bias go and give this a try. It's a short and fun trek while it lasts, and the Hyper Drive levels are insane!
Team Ninja has been genuinely rudderless without Itagaki. They don't know what to do with Ninja Gaiden, they absolutely flubbed on Other M. Really, all they have going for them now is DOA, and to get there they gave up everything that made DOA distinctive.
Kojima wasn't at E3 though LOL
Hey, so what do you guys think Itagaki was doing at E3 if he intentionally stayed away from the public? I have my guesses but maybe yours are better.
I hope they share stuff that's tangible and this isn't just another announcement that doesn't lead to anything.
Sony said in E3 it wasn't their project, and then they said they were partners in making the game. Basically, Sony's statements made it seem like something suspicious was going on.
I can understand why you feel people are overreacting, there is certainly some of that, but consider the cases of Project CARS and 38 Studios. Sony and Yu Suzuki was on the road to getting investigated by the authorities! They really couldn't take it lightly.
hey, the reasons for this should be clear after you see what everyone has been saying. Sony and Yu have been facing harsh criticism that they are taking fans money to essentially fund a PS4 game. Yu had to equivocally state he decided not to go with any partner, including Sony, cuz none met his specific criteria. Sony's role w Shenmue 3 is very limited, because Yu chose this.
@morganfell How do you know Itagaki had another backer in between THQ and Nintendo? Please PM me if you have insider info, thanks
Again, to be clear, Sony seemed really interested in the game. We don't know if they offered money or not, but it was Yu who decided not to go to them.
I'm sorry if you funded it thinking it was a guaranteed PS4 exclusive, but Yu had a bigger problem proving that there was no swindle involved. If you think about it, Sony is the last company that Yu should have approached. The last Shenmue was released on Xbox, and Sega enjoys a closer relationship with Nintendo, havin...
This is actually the latest build, newer than what was shown in the Direct.
Garden Warfare was revealed at the EA E3 conference, but announced as an Xbox exclusive first, and it took six months before it came to PlayStation.
Can we talk about Sepp Blatter and FIFA 16?
If you funded Project CARS for a Wii U port, you should demand a refund now. Maybe consider legal action.
LOL you're such haters!
Just one note guys: in my text roundup, I made no mention of the largest roster rumor. This is because it was debunked. The Youtube this was from also confirmed it was debunked in the description.
Comment noted, and I double checked. I'll make sure to add to the title that this is the fastest funded gaming kickstarter, since it beat the previous holder, Mighty No 9
A new one for Let's Plays!
I think this is the perplexing thing, we were all thinking Nintendo was closely involved with Valhalla in making this. Hard to believe SPD and EAD would allow a bad game to leave their hands, so it looks more like Nintendo held mostly an advisory role.
Maybe we'll hear more about that from Unseen 64 later on.
