I would go for the PC version as well. I always do with such games, usually only play exclusives actions,j-rpgs,tps on my consoles and FPS which wasn't available on the PC. Playing ME on console just don't feel right like Fallout3, and usually you will eventually miss out mobs, addons & many other features such as tweaking & fun hacks.

This isn't the 90s and the early 2000 where you couldn't try out demos unless its been distributed to you with a hardcopy, and you couldn't get games review unless you subscribe to mags.. We are now living in a much more advance world now. You wanna know a game is good? Just download the demos or readup the reviews around the web! Hacking a console just so you could try the games ain't an excuse any longer.

FFVIII owned 7 in my honest opinion! Not only was the graphix and CGI miles better than 7, the storyline is amazing as well. The only complain about it was that the game is just too simple comparable to the series.
