You'd think so, but Wii "gamers" (past the Nintendo loyal) are made up of kids and old people. You could have Metal Gears of Halo Theft Fantasy XXVI and they wouldn't care, as long as Mario is there for mini-game madness.
Ha, bubbles, I was just about to say that.
Nathan Hale kicks its face in, then sets it on fire with pure anger.
Whoa... did we step into a time warp?
Better graphics
Better online service
Better controls
Numerous reasons, and a gaming PC is not that expensive, especially if you spread the cost over a few years.
juuken, you're completely right and this was what happened all last year.
It seems some people are still willing to have Sony in their sights but turn a blind eye to Microsoft doing anything wrong.
You know people are deluded when a company exec comes out and says the RRoD is a good thing and people still support the product.
Then why is the gameplay of MGS4 better than GeOW?
16 month headstart and they're trying to brag?

Meh, if the PSP is anything to go by, the PS3 will never be "complete". The PSP is still getting new features all the time. The PS3 will probably be the same. Sony have been pretty good with system updates, they do actually add new functions that people may not have thought about.
Excellent, I was saying recently how Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony need to have a search option on their stores.
Yeah, I don't like Wii or MS points. It's way too opague. I'm never aware of exactly how much I'm spending and if the product is good value or not. On the PS Store, you know exactly how much you are spending. It's a cash amount, no messing around.
Online + hard drives = patches
It was destiny.
In some cases it's good, because sometimes patches do fix issues with balance and other unforseen things, some even add content.... but most are just allow devs to rush a crap product to market to meet a deadline and then patch it because of poor coding that wasn't even considered (or not, if it's the PS3 version of The Orange Box).
It was a timed exclusive... so yeah....
It's true, but I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting an "major feature" as you said.
I got Virtua Tennis for PS3 and there's no online play... but I was probably the only one who did, so a petition probably wouldn't have helped.
I didn't say there's anything wrong with the 360 version either, but it's still lacking various content like:
Two new playable characters
A new quest
A new dungeon
A revised scenario with multiple endings...
Those aren't extras, they're outright improvements, especially the multiple endings part.
Alan Wake is summer 2009 at the earliest and it's one of 2 360 games I'm looking forward to (the other being Fable 2), so it better be good.
Well, 360 fans were happy to get Virtua Fighter and wouldn't shut up about MGS4 for about a year.
The 360 version may be cheap, I've seen it for low prices as well, but I want the complete version.
It looks good, not that big an improvement over the first one but, then again, it didn't need to be. I just wish there was more colour to it, just a touch to take it to the next level.
Resistance 2 has more depth, more colour, better textures, crisper graphics (none of that hazy nonsense)
Gears 2 has marginally better character models, but I wouldn't like to call it. That show of Marcus is from behind and he's basically just a black blob from behind.
