As a consumer tho, i don't care about Xbox or Ps4 business that much, i just want to be able to find matches down the line when all but the hardcore have long moved away. The cross-platform thing sure as hell will help keep the playerbase up.
Also, that was why i chose Street Fighter 5 as my main fighting game and not Tekken 7. I can easily talk my friends into buying the PC version to play with me.
Well, i want 60 fps for most 3rd party games but probably won't get it with the X. I know it's more "Putting another settings in game takes more time/money" rather than the Xbonex not powerful enough, but man it still sucks as i really want to get one.

Yup, while it's not a good step for the leading console manufacturer (Sony) in legal sense ot otherwise, it is the best thing for us users. We would be able to find more MP matches (of course, assuming the devs do a great job in creating the matcher system)
It's an online game so the player base is another thing we need to take into consideration. After a few months and now Titanfall 2 is dead on PC with like a few hundreds playing.

You can't play the game normally tho. That's the thing. The game speed is tied to the frame rate (It is hard-coded and just can't be changed with mod), like any other Hack n slash action games from Japan (NInja Gaiden, Bayonetta), if the games frame rate is drop, the games slow down. Frame rate too high then the game will be sped up.
With most of newer games on PC, if the frame rate drop then the game become laggy (skip frame instead of slowing down). Higher fra...
Both Metal Gear Re and Transformer are capped at 60, so this game might be capped at 60 too. I don't think they have the time to optimize the PC version that much for higher refresh rate.

People plays the way they want with the control method they want. Git gud if you want to win.
Site note: Some dont want to use pc cuz of all the drivers and what not. You might find it easy but others find it confusing and time consuming.
And what would we as video game consumers gain from that move? Ps4 as the only home console around? Why would you want something to happens that can potentially help a company monopolize the whole market? That'd never yielded any good results for the consumers.
And yes, the Switch is simply not in the same market as the Ps4 and Xbone.
Why should "Xbox exclusive" matters? If you don't want to buy an xbone to play these games then you gotta have windows 10 installed to play them. They get their money either way.
Also the living room gaming market does still generate enough revenue for them to keep making those xbones. And as a Ps4 console user, you don't want it to be the only home console around.

Red dead Redemption with its stable performance beg to differ. Also no tearing in almost every one of them. Wouldn't you count those as improvements ?
If you make a model, then you make a prettier model, wouldn't making the prettier model take more time and energy?
I know the feel. But come on! You want prettier game, better performance game with more awesome gameplay elements than the previous game but you still pay the same amount of money and expect the devs to release the game fast.

Like kstuffs said: Better performance. I mean Red Dead Redemption at stable 30fps, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 at stable 60fps and a whole bunch of other console's exclusive games with preferably no tearing. You don't want that?

That's a pretty far-fetched goal. Original Xbox live has shut down a couple of years ago. They have to either re-make the game for the new Xbox live or get the old Xbox live back online (which, i imagine, is not as easy as it sounds).
