Considering Nintendo has pretty much given up on the Wii for the Wii U, it's not like Microsoft can be proud it is beating that system. The PS3, sure, but worldwide sales are closer, aren't they?
Sure, but Nintendo holds their own September conference for new platform releases. They did for the Wii and then the 3DS. A blowout of information was revealed for both. We might even see some info if Nintendo does another one of their bimonthly Nintendo Direct shows.
I was worried about what this article would be about. Then I got to this:
"The critical point to realize in all of this flip flopping is the fact that I support all the systems. I don’t elevate one console above the other one in terms of which I think is the better console or the better company. Those terms are hard to define. What I can define is what I’m interested in at the moment is what I’ll be playing. It keeps me from being a fan boy and helps me focus on just bei...
Me too! I've never had a Best Buy employee push me to buy their magazine or sign up for a rewards program after saying "no" multiple times.
Getting Jak & Daxter Collection, inFamous 2, and GoW Origins (finally).
Did you use a picture of three 3DS games on purpose?
I'm confused. Did you accidentally paste the incorrect description? Famitsu?
"Did consumers feel the Snes was just a NES or that the PS3 was just an updated PS2? No"
You really don't see the difference between adding a U to the Wii and an incremental number change between the PS2 and PS3? It's not like Nintendo went and called it the Wii 2 to show that it is the sequel to the Wii like the PlayStation 3 is the sequel to the PlayStation 2.
"How do PS3/360 convey the fun of their games when they dont use motion con...
D'oh. :)
Nice review, Marteen.
So that must be why you were so sunshine and roses in this comment section:

I guess if anyone dares question a fanboy's favorite company, they get hated on. I guess my hatred for Nintendo is so bad that I listed a bunch of them on that list. Then again, fanboys throw logic out of the window in discussions, which you...
I don't like commenting on N4G, so I apologize ahead of time.
So Vampiric, I'll play your fanboy-rationale game.
1) I don't normally care about N4G opinion. It's anonymous which means any one and everyone can channel their inner fanboy as you have proven.
2) If "everyone is ripping this article apart for how embarrassing it is" on N4G, then why are most comments neutral or in agreement? And the ones that disagree wit...
Kamiya =/= Nintendo
How is Nintendo attacking PAS:BR when Kamiya is a third-party developer all on his own? As Kamiya would say, "use your brain." Jesus. I'm out. Some of you guys can continue your console wars bs if you like.
Oh, awesome! Another game that 13 year olds will play because it has guns, violence, and is "mature." Of course, maturity in video games only means lots of violence and too much cursing to the point that the game turns into a joke! Rock on, video game industry!
Agreed. Posting across ten pages is a cheap tactic to drive up hits.
I'm sorry, but Zelda Informer is a source of fake news that takes any "tips" from ANYBODY. It does not matter who, it does not matter where. All they care about is getting hits. It's baffling how these articles keep getting accepted.
I know responding to comments here is a fool's errand since most comments here are throwaways.
Regardless, if this list was for a 9 year old kid, then it would have been extended to 2013 so I could have listed Call of Duty, the Gears of War prequel, God of War Ascension, Grand Theft Auto V, and other games that ironically pretend to be more mature than they actually are. You know, the types of games that kids play so they can feel more adult because they have "matoor...
I rented this back in the day from Blockbuster -- you know, when they were still relevant.
I even used "God Bless the Ring" as a tagline for my Dissidia: Final Fantasy review!
Its. Not it's.
Anyway, I need the price to go down for the Vita and some actual investment by Sony to get interested. Otherwise, it's just a risk to buy.
Simple. PS3 has actually exclusives I care about. I grew out of Halo, Gears, and the types of games Microsoft backs hard on a long time ago (if you still enjoy them, that is perfectly fine). Factor in multiple 360s dying on me, having to pay for online, and my choice was simple.
