That's the thing about reviews though, they are really just one person's opinion of a game/movie/anything. What appeals to one person may disgust another one, it doesn't mean that anyone is right or wrong.

Seeing this reminds me that I need to catch up on my Omniverse watching. The inclusion of the series' voice cast is pretty awesome, just hope the game is good when it drops

Dark Souls is actually the game that inspired me to buy my PS3. After beating it and the Artorias DLC, I needed more so I bought a PS3 and spent weeks tracking down a proper copy of Demons. Dark Souls II has me more than a little bit excited
It is hard to get a grasp for the game from the videos and interviews, but it really doesn't feel like COD or anything on the market at the moment. The Titans mix up the gameplay a lot, but even without them the game feels more fluid and dynamic than COD ever does.

You can definitely just jump straight into this one. They do a great job of filling in the blanks for the story as you go
