i dont recall any other downtimes while ive had my ps3, since launch, so either its something big =D or its some required maintenance which still is good news :D
i agree, though a valiant effort, it will be a waste.... they received the game they paid for initially, upon purchase there was no promise of further support

i think the bundle was a great idea.... even where i was buyin the game there were 20 or so people in line for the bundle at midnight!
@ below... good point, i was actually surprised my friend got one, he had a wii but said he's been waiting for this game to get his ps3
maybe the wii has begun to saturate the market over there but nonetheless im seeing a trend start!

good call.... why have madden there at all? they claim changes but they they claim that every year and they know it will still sell.... they should take this opportunity to showcase some new IPs and fresh faces... promote these games... give us something interesting to show that they do care about the hardcore gamer
