Why are 32GB cartridges bad? I think that is plenty of enough space for a game today albeit with fewer textures or more compressed assets then those super AAA titles that the article was mentioning.
Or better yet, how do they work to power gaming.
Read the article, don't watch the video. There's a lot of good detail, but the pacing is just way too fast in the video.
If you think the game drains your phone, think about how fast drones drain their battery. This think is active for maybe 30 min.
Went in expecting a run down of why pokemon stadium 2 was hard... got a slow let's play between friends :(
Well, at least they're getting this out of the way now and not later.
It is a good port from the Steam version.
While I was rooting for Cosmo through most of it, John really deserved it. Well done!
I don't, but Nojima's work has been very well done and I like the stuff he does. I have faith that he wrote a very good story and if FFVersusXIII was really "canned" then it would mean starting all over, not just reforming a character and toning down the maturity (considering Tabata was behind Type-0). Like the article says, we'll just have to wait and see.
As long as they keep to Nojima's original story as much as possible, I'm fine with it. While it is sad to see quite a few things we've seen over the past 9 years no longer a part of the game, I do like how they're fitting the story to be standalone.

He does speak on a general technical level. For PS Now to work, you have to have a consistent and solid internet connection. As long as you have that then you can offload things.
It'll be interesting to see the approach MS takes with this. Do you go for a full offload of graphics to the cloud, so the console only has to communicate reference locations and input, or do you go a hybrid approach with some local and some remote...or even both.
If we want ga...
Yes, but will I need to carry a backpack to power this thing for a few hours?
I liked his comments about cloud computing as well. The infrastructure is just not there currently so having the Switch be a hybrid of a console and a mobile device is a great idea I think--minus some high end specs but if you're mobile gaming then you're OK with making that trade off.
