I agree that those boss battles were oh so lovely for my eyes but we kinda got battles like this long before with CC2's games. The naruto storm games and asuras wrath have very similar bosses as XVI. 16 being a ps5 game of course has the advantage but still.
XV just had far more hype surrounding it. It did what 16 was advertised as first. The darker tone, blood, action combat, etc. It had people waiting since the vs 13 days. Plus those e3 trailers showed all this cool shit (none of which made it into the final game) which was kind of a first for the series I think. Also there was an anime, a movie, and i think some novels or something. Seemed like square just put much more into advertising xv than 16
That is a neat thing to do and correct me if I'm wrong but it's not much being carried over. I mean it's not like you can farm the demo over and over and when you start the full game you'll be overleveled or something right? So how big a deal is it that you can carry over progress?

I'm really c9nfused here. Why are people acting like this is the very first time a demo was released for a game ever? What's so genius about it? What's so incredible about it? Have there been no other times when a demi was released a few weeks before the full game? Has there been no other demos that have had save progress carry over? Surely there has already. Im not all too familiar with FF apart from a few games but dooesnt the apocalypse happen in the one with that Terra girl and the clown villain? Ive also heard tactics is pretty messed up as well. I'm sure we'll see another turn based ff game eventually but I honestly prefer the 7remake series combat system be used for FF games going forward. I think it feels like a true evolution of combat.
Idk why everyone is suddenly throwing all their hope at microsoft. Just cuz sony had a bad showing doesnt mean microsoft will be any better. I sure do hope they have some cool stuff to show off but I'm not expecting them to deliver either.
So people want sony exclusives day 1 on pc or something? Thats what microsoft did and now theres hardly any reason to own an xbox unless you just dont feel like spending big bucks on a pc. With this strat sony is able to get their ps5 sales and still get their bread from the pc players later on.
Curious to see what imporvements have been made. The first game was cool n all but it was definitely your basic open world game. Nothing special in terms of mission variety or anything.

I'm certain they don't mean each game is the exact same but more like they all feel super basic. Spiderman, gow, sushi ghost, Horizon, last of us, uncharted. They're all good games but they all feel like the same kind of game in which they have hyper realistic graphics, not much of a distinct artstyle, no gameplay innovation, open world, etc
I wouldn't say they're ditching those creative games completely. If you go on their YouTube channel you'll see quite a few of those kinds of games. But I get the point.
Things is they're a huge comoany. It's all about the money end of the day and what brings in the money are the same basic AAA games. Those are the games bringing in millions so of course those are the games that they'll keep making. I've seen nothing but criticism for Horizon 2 ab...

Im so curious about whats going on at msoft. Why is it so hard for them to pay devs for exclusives? Platinum, flying wild hog, team ninja, whatever indie developers. Sony and nintendo arent some kind of gods of the gaming world. They simply have good exclusives that people want to play. Why does it seem so hard for xbox to do the same?
I think most if not all of us would like cars so we can take ourselves where we need to go. Theyre just not so easy to afford

I'd much prefer we get new games that have such combat. Enough with the remakes. At least move forward if you want more of the same series
I've seen a lotta comments regarding the roster. Let's be real folks. That ain't gonna happen. I mean do yall really want such a bloated roster again? We don't need king vegeta, k8ng cold, frieza Soldier, cui, apoo, pilaf machine, kid chi chi, etc. If they're gonna blow up the roster at least add characters like Fit buu, whis, a couple of the other gods of destruction, maybe all the kais that kid buu defeated and the one he absorbed to become fat buu, z sword gohan, etc ...
Yea like I definitely still love em but to say they're setting a new standard is a bit much. Off the top of my head I think wonderful 101 has much better fights that aren't just spectacle but require fast reactions with blocking, counter attacking, dodging and they have much more going on.
