I would like a link to the exclusive content for GTA4 on ps3. I still am undecided and if this is true I may go with the ps3 over the 360, but I think you may be just talking about a rumor as though it is fact
it would be awesome just to get the ability to play co-op. Map Packs are great, but it is just more of the same, I would love to see developers take advantage of DLC and really add to the game play aspect. Give us more missions to complete, change a few features or add some features and I will gladly pay you a few bucks. I would rather pay a 20 bucks to make a great game better than buy a stinker for 60.
I don't think the RROD really applies here, so to think that microsoft won't drop their price or cannot drop their price is a little shortsided. Microsoft already obsorbed those losses on the books last year if I am not mistaken it was somewhere near 1 billion dollars. Bringing that up would be like bringing up the fact that Sony had the whole battery fiasco that cost them a lot of money, the fact is that both console makers will do whatever they have to do to get a piece of our living rooms...
"If the 360 was the lead platform then why is it that even R* said that the PS3 version would be marginally better in terms of lighting and such than the 360 version?"
This is a legitimate question, could you point me in the direction of the article talking about this? I missed it and would like to read about all this. I am super psyched for this game, What it boils down to is one version will be better, but that is like getting 100 million dollars or 105 million d...
I absolutely hate comcast. Why is it that I have to call and threaten to cancel in order to get a deal that comes out a week after I set up my service. this company, like many other service providers, already gimps internet traffic and charges the same amount for access that they did years ago. And since I live in a god damn apartment I am forced to use comcast or have nothing, it is a f'n joke.
So to sum up, I really dislike Comcast
Hopefully this is true, the thing that holds me back from purchasing more movies is that I have to pay for each individually, hopefully this will be offered with a monthly subscription fee that is in line with what netflix charges. I am worried that microsoft is going to put a limit it on it like 10 downloads a month for X amount. We shall see, I would imagine if this works out with microsoft it will come to PS3 soon, everyone should be able to get this awesome service
While I myself love Blu-Ray, I think that you are overstating its quality difference. the sound is fantastic in 7.1, unfortunately most people who are not audio/videophiles are not going to appreciate that. A standard high def download is a pretty good alternative. I agree there is a difference, but we disagree on the size of the quality difference.
I took the chance in my reply post to talk to the general tone of this thread, not not everything was directed completely at you. Pro...
Better stop watching tv too, cuz that isn't 1080p. come to think of it, the only thing that plays in 1080p are Blu ray movies, I wonder why you think you need 1080p to enjoy anything?
still not sure why the thread about a Broadband service provider saying their new, top end service will be available to many at the end of 2008 got high jacked into "Oh know microsoft is the worst company ever, they have you brainwashed blah blah blah. doesn'y it ever get old for any of you. Her...
I think the PS 3 could just as easily catch the xbox 360 as the 360 always remaining ahead. It is really a crap shoot, know one knows what will happen because of the 'blu-ray' factor. I don't think it is crucial for either company to completely dominate like the last generation. If both companies can remain profitable, which it seems as though they are both moving towards that, than the real winners are us, the people who get to enjoy and reap the rewards of two large companies competing i...
what is your point? One sentence posts makes sense only when the point they are trying to make is contained in it. Is your point that the sales didn't increase? Is your point that you are surprised that the sales increase did not cause it to go up on the "amazon list"? Or could it be that your point was that you are just an ***hole? My guess is that latter but I could be mistaken. Your post has left me, an idiot who thinks sales increases are a good thing, confused. Please El...
The PS3 is an awesome purchase man, I cannot believe I was so against it early in its likfe cycle, Blu-Ray HD Movies are awesome, I was 'lucky' enough to have an HD-DVD add-on which I liked, But the movie selection for Blu-Ray is fantastic.
Which games used 7 dvd's?
why does it ever matter. Both consoles sold well for a february, last time I checked they aren'y going to shut down the lines because they were outsold for a month or two, that goes for the PS3 and the 360, I am going to keep saying this until people get it around here, this argument is no different than rednecks talking about their chevy being better than your ford. It gets old, lets get some more news about games and a little less news about console makers and their problems
You are right, I am sad and pathetic, I like to play video games, and it just so happens that the more games that are out the better the chance I have of finding something I like. Remeber guy, playing games is supposed to be fun. How much do you make off of every console sold by sony or nintendo or by whoever? My guess is nothing, and that is exactly how much I make, but I am not the one taking it so seriously as to call people names for pointing out a disagreeing view point. The 360 has ...
Keep up the quality over quantity argument, because as we all know a large percentage of PS 2 games were garbage, and that was arguably the best console of all time, right? So 'f' quality over quantity, the more games you put out the more there are to have a chance of being good, where as if you only put out a limited selection of games they better all be good. If I put out 20 games a year and 5 are good to great games, and the other guy puts out 300 games a year and only 10% of there games ...
Microsoft this, sony that, doesn't this argument get a little stale. The episodic content is a great addition no matter what it is. I do not understand why people who own a PS3 would say they couldn't care less about it. I mean, oblivion had an expansion pack and some people got it and some people didn't. I for one am glad I have the OPTION of buying it for my 360. Some people will buy it some won't, but it is sure nice to have the option. You can guarantee that PS3 only owners (I am not ...
Actually a supply problem in January would conincide with the selling better than they thought in december. Which is what happened. If your manufacturing process is done based on sales estimates than it is possible that a product's availability may drop shortly. I mean, there are times when Liquor stores run out of beer, but it isn't because there isn't any beer, it is because they messed up on ordering. It is there own fault, don't get me wrong, but it can happen.
windows, on a very low side estimate based on a few numbers I have looked at, is the operating system on about 90% of PC's worldwide. 90%, Linux is still behind the Mac OS, call me when Windows is below a very dominant 75% market share and then it will be time to worry. You do realize that not too many other products will ever reach the market share of even 50%.
So linux may gain support from internet nerds, and people who want to be different, but to Joe Q User and Bob J. Bu...
