Yep, those movies and the stellar lineup for '08.
I'm sorry, but I think that LBP is going to make PS3 hit the top of many kids wanted lists this christmas. Not to mention R2 and Motorstorm 2.

Oh how things change in a year!

Now the 360 NEEDS a price drop and has NO GAEMS!

hilarity.

...you do realize you have to be online to have mics work right?

I assumed you didn't know this, because if you played on PSN you'd see plenty of people with mics. You're either full of it or are using a 56k modem.

Well said bro.

My old one crap out too many times ???

Yet you'll still waste money on another?
You are a fine example of ignorant consumerism.

I'm not worried. As far as I'm concerned 360 doesn't have exclusives. I'll enjoy GeoW 2 when it's on PC. And yes, it WILL be coming, don't underestimate Microsoft's desire to cash in.

Yep, I waited patiently on the PS3 to be within my price range and grabbed one immediately.

I knew there were a FEW games on 360 i'd want to play, but in the long run far more on PS3. This is being proved very quickly with the games already only on PS3 and coming by the end of '08 and '09.

The list of games i'll be able to enjoy is huge. Many many exclusives on PS3 and all the noteworthy multiplats. And hmmm about the few games only on 360?

Well I've jus...

HD-DVD is in trouble, not something really bad but in trouble...

MS had alot of problems, hopefully not one that can screw the gaming community (a 360 with no HDD anyone?). Anyway, I don't think this can get any worse, we'll see.

But still, I am a bit worried that it can go really wrong...

Yes, it's been established, this ISN'T the game. However have you SEEN this game?
It looks amazing.
It REALLY sounds like you are severely hurt-in-the-butt about it.

Hey bud, you sure are sour.

Are you mad because they didn't include any Gears of War or Mario in the trailer?

for myself, when I spent time playing Wii I felt the controls were poor. In comparison to SIXAXIS at that time it didn't come close in accuracy.

Unfortunately for myself and probably others, M+ is too little too late.
For a console such as the Wii that touted motion controls at it's epicentre the controls seemed lackluster at best, and I quickly dismissed it as a half-assed gimmick.

Maybe with M+ Nintendo brings true 1:1 motion sensing and it could be absolutel...

Did a little digging.
Maybe this video will help people understand the differences between the two.
In the end it would appear as though the best use of both technologies is when they are combined. For a motion sensing controller to truly be accurate they need both.

It isn't remote-shaped hence the "it still has the primary function of a standard controller. " bit.
However functionally it works better.
"A major feature of the controller is the ability to sense both rotational orientation and translational acceleration along all three dimensional axes, providing six degrees of freedom"
- Wiki
If any company could easily make a more accurate remote-shaped peripheral it's Sony.

My point, in the end, w...

"It’s still missing the magnetometers, so it’s still a system that needs that IR strip to figure out where it is, whereas the Darwin is completely self-contained."

Kind of like the SIXAXIS controller, which actually has far more accuracy that the Wiimote, however it still has the primary function of a standard controller.
Protip: SIXAXIS was out long before the "darwin" concept.

For the 360.
1) Do you play games online?
a - If you answer "NO", then cost is pretty low, enjoy the savings.
b - If you answered "YES" continue to #2

2) Take The cost of Live (50$) and multiply that number by how many years you plan to play online.

3) Now look at the end price tag.
