"Considering the Ps3 is a nightmare to develop for"
LOL!
Do everyone a favor and go away.
Lair was the perfect storm of fanboy fear of the PS3.
The terror the game generated was only topped by Killzone 2. Lair was the first big exclusive game that gave fanboy reviewers in the media a chance to destroy a PS3 game and write their 'teh PS3 doesn't live up to teh hype' stories.
With Lair you had a game that:
1) Ran in 1080p with absolutely insane amounts of world sizes and things on the screen running on an engine that only the PS3 is capable of ...
Was just playing a couple games today with remote play on my PSP.
This isn't old. There was a demo in the Japanese store but not in the US store. Well worth the price for this wonderful but very challenging game.
Microsoft simply does not have the internal developer studios to be able to come out with a comparable number of big exclusive games as Sony or even Nintendo. Microsoft only has around four internal 360 developers compared with ten Nintendo and 20 for Sony.
There just aren't going to be large numbers of exclusive 360 games coming out other than PC games getting 360 only versions.
For whatever reason Microsoft has not spent the seven years or so they've been in the co...
"Quite disappointed to be honest. I thought they would of at least mentioned a few other exclusives that we don`t know about."
Microsoft only has:
Rare
Lionhead
Turn 10
and the Peter Jackson Halo studio
for internal 360 targeted developers. That is tiny compared to Nintendo which has around 10 and Sony which has 20. There just aren't going to be significant numbers of big exclusive unknown games coming out for the 360.
Vgachartz isn't ever going to be able to make up weekly sales numbers put the 360 ahead ever again this console generation. As the installed base number grow vgchartz is having an increasingly difficult time passing off fake numbers.
The pattern for the last few months in Europe was for vgchartz to keep lowballing PS3 sales across the board and inflate 360 sales until they got caught with some real European numbers in the press and they would be forced to bump the PS3 numbers up ...
"Oh, how I wish that were true. "
I've had a Google news aggregator for the PS3 and Wii setup since before the two consoles launched.
It has been hilarious to watch PS3 fans let themselves fall for the 'nothing but bad PS3 news' meme. It's very similar to PS3 fans who have been suckered into the tired old 'hard teh program' BS.
99 percent of every news story last year about the PS3 was at worst neutral and usually somewhat positive to outright ...
"One year ago, the media, and all those "gaming" website was saying that the ps3 should have never been release"
Not even remotely true.
99 percent of PS3 news last year was neutral to extremely positive.
Sony started off 2007 absolutely blowing gamers and the gaming press away with their GDC Home and Little Big Planet unveiling.
Sony then dropped the mother of all megatons with their Killzone 2 realtime gameplay demo wit...

Let's just sum up Sony and the PS3:
* Has virtually every single franchise coming out for it and developer working on it that got 130 million people to buy PS2s last gen and are continuing to do so.
* Has dramatically expanded their first party developer array to a size that is twice as large as both Nintendo and Microsoft's first party developers combined
* Has hit break even on the hardware after just one year - just like the PS2 last gen
...
Capcom and their last gen looking DMC4 better pray no screenshots or footage of God of War 3 gets out into the public...
"I didn't understand what this guy was saying."

The article was nothing more than the tired old technique of cloaking a fanboy rant in the guise of 'helpful advice'.
There are really only two require a large harddrive install:
1) You are severely disc space constrained and had to use a very computation intensive compression algorithm to fit your data onto the disc. And you need to spend tens of minutes decompressing data to the harddrive that you couldn't possibly do while the game was running.
2) You need to stream data faster than the disc drive can handle so you dump a big portion of your game data to the harddrive.
"Sounds like Capcom haven't got to grips with PlayStation 3 hardware"
This has nothing to do with the PS3 hardware. It is good old fashion crappy game engineering.
Streaming in data to memory or the internal harddrive on the PS3 is no different than doing so on a PC from a DVD.
0 Capcom games == 0 GBs gone.
Problem solved.
"The Blu-Ray is slower reading than the DVD in the 360."
Wow, that's some stale old FUD you're trying to spread there.
Give it a rest.
"i feel guilty because i regularly forget to keep the PS3 running with folding"
You can set F@H to come on as the PS3's screensaver.
candystop, reported.
Keep the fanboy garbage out of the good forum.
