I prefer a lot of the games I see from Japan over games from anywhere else. I've played many J-RPG's and loved most of them.
Tales of Vesperia for the Xbox360 was exquisite. It was plain out awesome. Star Ocean 3 and 4? They were extremely disappointing. Grandia 3? Disappointing. Grandia and Grandia 2? Awesome games. Grandia Extreme, not so much.
Final Fantasy 2/4 and 3/6? Really good and Extremely good. FF7? Extremely good. FF8? It had its' momen...
Dungeon Keeper was a rather cool game... To know that they are making a modern version of it? I think I am intrigued by the idea!
Midna... How is she not higher on that list!? She can even turn you into a wolf! XD
My favorite part of the entire series... Fighting Sephiroth and completing the fight without getting hit in KH2 I believe.
I personally think that 3D Technology on TV's is pathetic right now and if it doesn't change, then I will never buy one.
Blam! Biff! Pow!
It doesn't look bad for this style of game... I might try it.
Jets, jets and more jets! Where can you go wrong? This game has a lot of speed involved with it too! As for pre-order or full price purchases, I don't think games should exceed $45 brand new, and since, by the time I buy it, it would have been out for at least 3 months, I wouldn't want to pay more than $30... -_-
I personally only played Power Stone (The first one) a couple times and possibly a Sonic game, if they had one, for the Dreamcast. Therefore, I cannot say which ones I am waiting for heh.
Some of them might be extremely fun on XBLA.
I helped create Aeon of Strife, Defense of the Ancients and DotA: Allstars, so I feel obligated to at least try this game out at some point. I have been playing League of Legends a fair bit, so I don't really know if I have time for both. I guess I will just have to make time to try it.
I am quite interested in this. The only FPS better than Goldeneye for N64 was Perfect Dark, and that was only for multiplayer!
No no... It teaches you how to survive the Apocalypse in a video game universe by leveling up and getting better weapons! Imagine trying to level up in real life if this happened, then you met a Super Mutant Behemoth... Sorry, but those "Imaginary" levels will not save you this time! XD
To me, the Wii is not a hardcore gamer console, although it has some hardcore gamer games like Super Smash Bros Brawl.
I cannot identify Mario Galaxy 2 or Other M to be hardcore games despite MG2 being extremely good.
Stardock doesn't have experience with Massive Mutliplayer options yet... We will have to see how they handle it when they do. Until then, we can only assume that Stardock cannot outdo Blizzard.
Did Obama and Palin seriously go to Comic Con or are those just random people Cosplaying as them? -_-
Some of those Cosplayers were... Extremely bad looking. Not the best bunch I have seen, but there were still good costumes.
GZ - #Blur
I might give it a try.
Looks interesting. I didn't really like GTA:IV all that much... 2 of the reasons were because it had a crappy main character and that you kept getting phone calls from the people you knew to hang out, waste your money and increase the "Like meter", or ignore the phonecall/turn them down and lose points in the "Like meter".
Too bad that it is impossible to tell which one would be better than the other at this point. I was pretty disappointed when I watched a gameplay video that was based around the combat aspects for Yakuza 4.
One thing that I would expect from games with melee combat, is that, when an attack lands, it actually feels like it is hitting something rather than going right through the enemy, and the next, and the next... If the weapon or attack literally went right through the enemy...
I am interested in seeing these as well... SSF:IV is pretty good and I liked the old Tekken games for PS1. Heck, I would have to say they are milking the franchise already as it is, but as long as they keep making games, it will always happen. My only main concern is related to how much a full retail game will end up costing in the future. With all the addons and whatnot these days, some full retail games that cost people $60 to get also cost an additional $40+... They are already milking gam...
Black Isle games... I don't think I will ever hate Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights or Icewind Dale. There were times when I played on the normal setting of Baldur's Gate 2, did a fight that I should have won easily, but died because I freakishly missed with regular attacks 90% of the time and the enemies landed criticals 30% of the time while only missing about 20%...
I haven't played Valkyria Chronicles yet, so I have absolutely nothing to compare the anime...
