to the person who disagreed (probably Eamon). Why? How is anything I stated wrong?
@Eamon
Piracy, not a right.
Gaming, not a right.
Sort your priorities out, fucktard.
I'm pretty sure you cant save games to an External HDD anyway, but yeah I'm only really saying from my experience of Blu-Ray disk dying. Luckily I have insurance on my PS3 (£1.99 a month) so I got it covered.
but yeah there's really no excuse to jailbreak the PS3, if you're worried it's going to break, get insurance on it, it's cheap as it is. And the notion that people might not have enough money, well maybe they should prioritize there money bet...
@Yi-Long
From my personal experience of the PS3 Diskdrive breaking, it prevents you from launching games saved to the PS3 itself (so PSN games and the like) so it wouldn't make a difference.
@Yi-Long
From my experience of having a broken BD-Rom Drive, it also prevents PSN titles from playing, so games saved to the PS3 also won't play.
Like Kotaku said, their review won't be up for a while because GT5 is such a huge game it's gonna take more then a week to review.
Most of the reviews are by sites that have known bias, are small and are looking for new readers or by people who have just not given it enough time.
though I don't really see how reviews validate anything, being as they are written by people with egotistical complexes who want their opinions to be known as fact.
I cant change the rims on all of the cars in the game? seriously?!
What am I meant to do now? race the cars?
Who the fuck buys Gran Turismo games to race cars? That's like buying a Call of Duty game too shoot guns!
@cygnuszero2 So Forza is rated higher then GT1 and GT2? PSone games? Wow...
I made a some what similar post down below somewhere, but yeah as for point 7, they get ESPN, I get BBC iPlayer, for free.
There's not been a price boost for that feature, nothing like that. It's completely free. And something I will ACTUALLY use more then once...
Oh! not interested, give up some information on Battlefield 3 ya bastards!
iv) Everyone has a mic; Yup, and that also includes the annoying prepubescent gobshite's. Also from my experience with Live I noticed that although everyone had them, not everyone was using them. And sometimes those who were using them, were using them to breath heavily towards you.
I have myself a mic for the PS3, I only ever use it on Battlefield Bad Company 2. That's because most FPS' on the console do not require the use of mics. I think only Dragon Rising wou...
@codyodiodi;
Your "unbiased" article is entirely biased...Stating you aren't biased doesn't make you non biased. You may have used both but that means jack shit.
1) As to why your article is biased, instead of actually doing any sort of in depth work to determine strong points and weak points, you've used the same old rehashed fanboy drivel. Your article is one sided; instead of comparing both services, you just listed a few things that ...
this:
“Late last night, four grown ass men from the award-winning gaming studio Naughty Dog took some time away from crafting their next totally unannounced, super top secret project to square off with us in Halo: Reach. Would their stylishly half-tucked shirts be enough to finally topple our incredible Humpday winning streak? Read on to find out!”
it's hard to think it will be any other game then Uncharted. (Stylishly half-tucked shirts)
To all those saying "The article provides sources"... where? the links inside the article mostly link to an IGN article which clearly states sony as talking about how many they've shipped and how they aren't mentioning sales at the moment.
And another links to a speculative article written about Michael Patcher estimating sales...
So there is no sources or anything like that? Heck they even link to a twitter post, asking whether they meant...

Well it's been nearly two months and nothings been done with the Jailbreak anyway, well, nothing worth writing home about.
Basically a few people got excited cos they thought they hacked the PS3 and it turns out they actually didn't really do anything at all.
the PS3 has out sold the 360? In both Japan and EU anyway, I remember there being articles all over the internet about it's success, it was after one of it's many price reductions.
Awww look at the cute little 360 fanboy, he's pretending to make a point!
No, the power of the PS3 is Uncharted 2 still being the best looking game made, and that title is a year old.
@Darkfocus
Actually breaking a TOS is against the law as it is like breaking a contract. The only problem is it is hard to prosecute someone for breaking a TOS. Harder then prosecuting someone who breaks a contract.
And no matter how you sugar coat it, video game piracy is against the law. End of.
