Damn the facial animations looks good. Here's hoping gameplay is great as well.
All they did was change the camera which is 3rd person. And you list some of the games that are also popular in 3rd person.
If the first one was a failute on sales and player count then that alone should explain to you that they had to made change and it worked.

This! I've said this before. All these mass layoffs and in droves too. All to do with AI. They won't admit it. But it's cutting them costs. I mean even for a simple thing such as art they're taking over.

I'm actually shocked to see a 5/10..i played the demo and it was fantastic. They kept the music, the 2d side scroller, and that retro/nostalgic feeling. Im definitely getting thia game

But that's the thing @victor..looking back when did anyone ever thought exclusives like UC and GodofWar will go to pc? Change of leadership and ideas and policies all changed.
Not to mention that games nowadays cost hundreds of millions..so trying to recover all that by throwing a bone to the pc crowd as well. Its not like they discounted games for a 4 year old...no..its full price for them.

You're absolutely right. Back if you told any ps crowd this..they'd throw you in the pool. Back then I'd still stand by it. What happened then? Leadership changed, policies changed.
If i told the xbox crowd their exclusives were going to come on playstation..I'd be thrown of...

Well this isn't EA, they lost the license to Fifa, not Fifpro, or the premiere league or champions league or the euros.
MLB I'm guessing (i don't play baseball) is the only licence to it. They have no choice, indeed. American gamers will want authentic teams im sure.
They Have to have a good single player campaign to atleast sell the game to players who love single player games. For online it's ok they can gaas it. I hardly buy them anyway unless its worth it and i support it.
