Granted in the FF7 remake you were cloud most of the time, it was refreshing to be able to play as Barrett and Co to change things up.
Love to see FF 1-5 remake with modern enhancements and an actual party system.
There was decent world building back then granted it was 98% text based.

Xbox did do good for gaming ie push hard drives instead of memory cards, and OG halo was absolutely a blast to play. I would also state original Xbox live did push consoles online (DC and PS2 online adapter we’re playing catch up at first).
Forza also helped give Gran Turismo give the competitive push it needed.

I highly doubt Sony will purchase Squareenix, maybe another smaller studio or even an IP. I still think they overpaid for Bungie over estimating their GAAS evaluation.

Division 1 dark zones were awesome, but what put me off was that bosses felt too bullet spongey.
Instead of providing bosses that were built like tanks, the devs should have just tossed more enemies shooting at you during the raids.
