The reason Inception was so amazing is because it took Nolan 10+ years to come up with the concept, develop the story, write the script, get the proper technology to do it, etc.
The main aspect of the movie is the story. If it's not based on that story that's been perfected over 10 years and we get some second hand story, it will not be good.
However if he fully commits to it I'm sure he would not go that route and do the game justice. But if so...
i know it's common to hate on this game but i'll take prototype over infamous any day. i had hell of a fun time playing prototype.
plus, it has a ton more potential than infamous. just think what prototype could do with a bigger budget and more polish.

I love the first one and I love horror movies. Descent 2, however, is just a mindless horror flick. And I truly mean "mindless"; there are things that make absolutely NO SENSE AT ALL in the movie. You'll know what I mean when you see it.
I did however "enjoy" watching it. There's no substance but the gore, the action is pretty good and it does actually continue the story of the 1st one. So I say give it a go, but don't expect much.

I personally enjoyed the hell out of that game so yes I'm a little bias. But saying that the game is one of the worst games, or just a terrible game, is idiocy. At least respect what the game accomplished. You want to be pissed off and condemn this game so we get more Wii-like, mainstream games?

I don't know why I keep reading IGN reviews. I almost always disagree with them. I know opinions and personal preferences play into it a lot but I think they're just plain wrong on certain games/tv shows/movies.
All I'm saying, I've already read 2 reviews for this game that gave it 9.5 and a 9 and both emphasize how fun it is to blow stuff up and adjusting your attack/escape strategy around the fact that you can destroy almost everything.
