That's an ignorant comment I ALWAYS hear; it's not like the original is going anywhere if they make a remake. If fans don't like the new one they can ALWAYS go back and play the original for nostalgia's sake, but don't say "don't make the game" if PLENTY of people out there want it, myself included.
Square has never outright just said "No, we're never doing a FF7 remake"; their answers have been dodgy at best, and when they have said no, it's usually followed by a "not at this moment" or "we have no plans to..." or "the team is busy with x". Personally, I believe it WILL come one day, but their priorities are so mixed up right now it's ridiculous. There's definitely a demand for it, there just has to be a lull in their "project...
Super stardust HD? I don't think it's that the console can't handle it, it's that MOST games nowadays are ambitious and require a lot of the memory on the system; devs are satisfied with games running at 30-60fps at 720p, why use more resources to push it into something that's not really needed. People like to assume because it's not widely done, it's impossible, NO, it just IMPRACTICAL.
Hell tbh I can't really tell the difference between 30 and 60 fps, but that's besides the point. The human eye actual see see at 15-22 fps each, and then the brain outputs it to what we consider "higher" fps.
True, but they ain't stupid as well; SONY knows this tech isn't anywhere near available to be used on the PS4, not when SONY already lost so much on PS3 production. I expect to see this maybe in the next console cycle, if not, no more than 20 years from now, but the thought of something like this is truly insane. One can only imagine how far will the resolution go before we reach actual virtual reality.
You'd be surprised at how quickly tech moves forward; the actually technology has been available for years but not available to the general public until the near future. Saying that video cards and TVs powerful enough to support and/or render such images won't be coming anytime soon is plain ignorance. The question is rather, is it practical; I think we all know the answer to that though...
You'll always have hardcore fans who feel like everything needs to stay true to what a series has came up on; myself included. However, there ARE times when I love the intense action displayed on OpMetro, and I play on console.
I do have some knowledge of BF prior to BF3, however, I never got the chance to play BF2. That aside I've played all others with the exception of Battlefield: Vietnam. As a previous poster said, there needs to be some variety to appeal to a lar...
He DID say that half the enemy team was AFK; you could see by those scores that the other half were at least TRYING to get out of it.
The thing that makes me mad about MW3 is the fact most of the stuff implemented or added into could've actually been added into MW2 via a patch; this is of course speaking strictly about MP.
Also, just because a game might be fun doesn't automatically make it a good game; there has to be some improvement, some noticeable changes. That's what made Cod4 good; it was a leap from Cod2 an enormous game-changer; now its rehashes and recycles because "it works"...
The guy playing is sooo bad; i watched like literally the part when he starts trying to aim assist abuse. At first I thought it was a problem with his controller, but then I realized he was actually trying to do that.
G17 isn't fully auto in anyway shape or form; you're talking about the G18 and actually it is used competitively and some special forces actually use it as well as military. The G18 is a fully auto machine in a pistol package.
There's no doubt the game is gonna look & run like butter on the consoles. This was recorded on a video cam and it still looks pretty good. I also love how all the PC elitist are disagreeing; guys stop acting like someone insulted your mother, the game look great on consoles, no one's dissing the PC version. :/
Trolling? Pretty much every notable army in the world uses a 9mm handgun standard, if not, a .45. The thing is a 9mm, while packing less stopping power, has farther range, better accuracy, and slightly more penetration, not to mention the ammo itself is widely available.
The texture packs are included on the disc(s); they'll be streamed from the HDD tho once they're installed.
I do somewhat agree that the dev team might be overworked, but DICE's record for games is decent, if not, stellar. Most people see day one patches as a bad thing, however, what it really shows that dev teams acknowledge the fact that there are problems with the game and that they wish to improve it before anyone plays it.I do agree that the growing HABIT of having day one patches in the gaming industry is bad though.
It WILL be comparable to PC's lowest settings, BUT they did specify that some of the tech is actually done differently than the PC coding which actually ends up being done better.
@evrfighter Actually DICE did say that through a disclaimer everytime you booted up the BETA. People choose not to believe it for whatever reasons, but given DICE's past titles and their support I couldn't believe they would allow the final product to be anywhere near the BETA's quality.
I'm not condoning manipulating the scores, in fact I said EA didn't even have to do that. The fact remains however is that publishers are part of a business and their goal isn't to make us, the consumers, happy; it's to make money.
Everything else comes secondary to them for whatever reason...thus manipulating the scores to make the game look good should bring them more sales, and more money; the money is what they want. Actually, if a game could get low revi...
Many people think it was despite the flaws it had; just cause you think it was doesn't it make it a fact. However, the point is that if you read a little bit you would find MANY source (some reliable, some not) that say that the current build is light years ahead of the BETA build in quality.
@TopDudeMan No, I don't think that's a sold answer; it's an excuse from Kitase who although was the game's director at the time wasn't the actual producer nor designer. The excuse here is that if they make a remake they would have to remake everything about the game which isn't the case. It also implies that development time for such a game would take an upwards of 20+ years which is absolute BS. However, any fan of FF7 who wants a remake can wait, be it 5 yrs or 10. I...
