I think it would actually work quite well with Move. I'm not so sure about Kinect, though. Not sure how you would do more complex actions without buttons.
Read Babytownfrolics post, it explains what the deal is with steamworks from the valve site.
This is no surprise at all. The Kinect will sell sh*tloads, I don't think anyone will argue that...but that doesn't means it's going to be any good.
MGS Rising with Move support would be f*cking sick!
I thought what Microsoft showed of Kinect was just plain awful. The only thing about Microsoft's conference that interested me was the new xbox with built in wifi...if I ever buy an xbox again at least I won't have to pay $100 for wifi.
I'm expecting to see The Last Guardian (and probably FFXIII Versus) and the Tokyo Game Show...seems like the best place to unveil those games.
I really don't want a PSP2 yet, unless it's backwards compatible with my PSP games.
What children you are.
You really shouldn't be moving your console around anyway, but if you didn't know about it and wanted to change your xbox's position...there's a wasted 60 bucks right there.
@ Frag God lighten up. This in no way compares to racism...the guy just doesn't like the damn thing...I don't like it either, but I don't hate it (it hasn't even released yet) and I definitely don't hate the people think Kinect looks good. So many take criticism as a personal insult here...we all just need to lighten up.
Well I guess the casuals and Halo/Gears fans are happy. Unfortunately I don't fit in either category. I mean Halo and Gears are good games but I need a little more variety than that if I'm going to buy ANOTHER xbox.
Well Microsoft may become godly to the casual crowd, but for me they are nearing death...I really don't like the direction the Xbox seems to be heading. I was really hoping to see some new IPs or at least some sequels, but the Kinect thing seems to be Microsoft's main focus now.
I think it's necessary for tracking, thus giving better precision. Although it would be a little awkward to see someone playing with that thing through a window or something. ha ha
@ cez of rage Are you high?
Yeah I know. If this was Sony's or Nintendo's conference they would be the laughing stock of the gaming media.
Ha ha Have you seen the conference? No hardcore games to speak of, except the Star Wars game, although it looks horrid. I was really hoping Microsoft had an ace up their sleeve...
I don't even think your girlfriend would like the animal game...unless of course your girlfriend is 8.
Or that it looks like crap? Not everything has to be a competition here. Maybe for once the negative feedback isn't unwarranted.
I'm still skeptical of the potential of natal er kinect. There's no doubt it's going to sell a sh*tload but so did all those casual wii games so that means nothing to me. All the videos I've seen of Kinect really just look like Eyetoy, I know saying that pisses a lot of you off, but the similarities are too obvious to ignore. Hopefully Microsoft has some hardcore games to show at their conference; if not, this new toy ceases to hold my interest.
Yeah I'm not liking the direction Microsoft is heading. And it worries me even more that they didn't even show any new xbox exclusive core games...Well at least they've still got Halo, Gears, Fable and the multiplats.
