This is another fine example of international pricing being totally off.
It appears from the comments that the American pricing is $20 for a digital download, obviously Microsoft forgot to change the pricing for the British currency apart from the $ to the £ sign.
$20 does not mean £20 and Microsoft needs to realise this...
It's exactly the same with the Video Marketplace (I should know, I have an American account as well as a British one), an...
Am I the only person who has owned a 360 from day one without it overheating or "red ringing"?
If people have problems step one is to get some compressed air and blow that fan and the rest out, this is how I solved one 360 related problem with a friend.
1080p cannot be displayed under 37", you can display 1080i under that though, I have a 32" Samsung LE32R88 and I cannot reach a 1080p signal, unless I plug it into my 42" Bravia.
Most moniter/TV makers will LIE outright that it has 1080p because that is the standard, but rarely are any titles in FULL HD and any TV's in FULL HD, and if you are, you would know because they cost a bomb to buy.
And also let me say, unless you had a robotic eye the differe...
Maybe the update makes the player blow up.
I am not looking for an argument, and thats the last thing I want with this as people are always either just stuck to one console now.
Ok let me glaze over some points that I may not have explained.
I really like the Wii, and I love all systems and they always have something new, PC with an ever expanding hardware, 360 with the XBLA and Movie stuff, PS3 with crazy ass hardware and Wii with motion control.
But what Nintendo also did was instead of upgrad...
It still doesnt mean you would want to watch a Alfred Hitchcock film for example in 1080p, because the cameras then wouldnt do it justice. On topic of the blog post, no because this WILL increase the amount of piracy, you don't see pirates going get a job at the cinema and then walking out with the film reel, it's far easy to walk out with a super early blu ray copy.
And the fact is, that even projected blu ray will loose quality.
This means piracy will just rise. That can be bad! :D
And when they say 10,000 faster they mean to add a £/$ sign on the front.
I notice people metioning in reviews for the game that the critics gave it 9's and 10's for "great sound" and "awesome graphics".
Well... rightly they should. It's a beautiful looking game, however you shouldn't give it 0's just because of this flop.
People only pay attention to numbers. Which is why when I review content, I never give it a score, I allow the reader to take merit of what I've said in the article.
