as far as I know the rot happened to 2-3 blu-ray movies and hasnt resurfaced since.

at the time the consensus around the avs forums and on the internet was that it was a bad pressing, since they were able to track the problem to a specific set of serial numbered blu ray movies.

to this day I havent heard of another case, or even one case that was a game, this was mostly isolated to issues of the departed and a few other blu ray movie releases. since it is yet to ...

2-3 hours strait is "playing the sheit" out of a game?

I hope this is an under exaggeration, or else I would feel bad having played some games for almost 24 hours before.

I think if your scared to play the sheit out of a game for 2-3 hours there is something wrong

I hope eventually everything gets sorted out, I have too much to worry about without one of these timebombs in my entertainment center. plus the longer they wait to create a reliable product the closer I get to just putting the money towards a new desktop that can run most all the same games (and by the time I buy one it might be able to run each and every game I am interested in on the 360 [mass effect])

I'll give you takashi mikke movies I mean audition left me in a state of shock for days. but the japanese are much more lenient on some things than others. Sex is perfectly fine in every aspect, Guns on the other hand.

or the fact that MGS1 could be played through in 3-5 hours... that didnt make it any less of a fantastic game. I dont think that playtime should be assessed for the score, they should simply tell you how long they took to beat it. That way you can decide if you will get enough out of the game. I mean all my favorite games are short and sweet, nothing wrong with a sort fantastic game, better than adding another 6 hours that drag on or get nothing else across from a story perspective.

I'm with you mighty douche. this has been something that gamers have been clamoring for since the beginning. and it was shown as a feature that would be standard out of the box: http://youtube.com/watch?v=... (around 2:30 mark)

Its rediculous they just act like they are just figureing out there is massive demand for it (an option on the GAP survey....) I mean WTF ingame xmb should be IN THE WORKS, and the...

"Lair: Call of the Beast trailer"....

actually you can already browse the internet while playing music in the background. just hit the ps button while the song is playing then open the web browser. enjoy.

(also you are able to play a movie in the background while doing other things, I usually start an episode of heroes I have saved to run under everything while I am talking with friends and downloading demo's)

@ above posts about organizing music, the best way is by album, and you can listen to music while you browse the web and find the album art if you want to make it even easier. but most of my music is albums, I dont really keep single songs from an artist, but if thats what you have then I understand why it must be pretty inconvenient, maybe make folders for them, and order them by genre. (to do this you would need to edit the info of each song with the album name being the new folder name) ...

haha there is feign death in UT3 and you'd be surprised how many times people fall for it. I mean I have jumped in front of someone and feigned before they even shoot at me just to see the reaction, and amazingly plenty of times people walk right on by. This is one of the funnest things to do ever.

Very well thought out paper, and quite sound theories, but here are a few things I picked up on:

Part 1: pretty much what I get out of it, except I read it from top to bottom, not from bottom up.

From top to bottom in the first scene you see the man with great momentum in the middle of the bar heading for the edge on the right. in the next scene he is right at the edge, notice also that the arrow coming from him is at a steeper angle (albeit he is depicted with l...

a valid point, if they actually provided servers for different games. Most games are hosted peer to peer. The only game I've heard of that has confirmed to be using their own servers is MoH:Airborne I believe (so they can get the player max up around 30 per room I think).

All other games are run peer to peer, and the only thing in actuality you pay for is the friend invites and the chat rooms. People have been circumventing Live since its release, and if your still paying then ...

secret of mana 2, or saiken densetsu 3 for ps3 would make me one of the happiest people ever. sadly I have lost a lot of faith after playing the games that were supposed to be sequels in that realm, (legend of mana, heroes of mana, etc). Square needs to just let enix be enix, and get some of the squaresoft magic of the snes days back. I mean crono trigger, secret of mana and ff6 in one generation, bring back the magic.
