Very true, thisguywithhair. I do think that DD will surpass DVD/BRD. But not for an extremely long time. They are going to need to do something about the piracy rate first.
And I plan to get an HDTV so no, HDMI is not useless.
It does look similar to a WoW mod. But why would they make Halo an MMO? It just does not fit.
In truth I could not see having an offline gaming system without a HDD. What if the kid or person wants to use custom music? 512MB is not enough to store it.
It is true that was the purpose of the Arcade model. But now they are advertising it with a game that focuses on its DLC (Rock Band 2)
And btw, I have yet to find a useless piece of hardware on my PS3. I use all the functions. Cept HDMI (No HDTV)

This is the only reason I am buying a Wii. Monster Hunter for the PS2 was my favorite game. Hope this one lives up to it.

Yeah, the format war was aggravating. Everyone was posting about it. Most of N4G's submissions were format war based for so long. Just happy it finally ended. Took forever though.
As a small time reviewer I am getting this game at request. But I really don't want to play it. The install does not bother me, cause it wont be there for long.
But I do think that installs are stupid. Uncharted didn't have one. And it looked far better then this.
The screen is nice. I will prolly get me the 3000 cause with that screen I can play games outside allot easier.
