First time listener to the show. I thought it was very funny (I was laughing hard at some points) and also very informative and informational. Great balance of humor and solid gaming reviews and info. Great show. Will listen to again.
Some people are saying that the "5" in the background is too obvious and that it may actually be an "S". Apparently, Kojima is working on a project, called "Project S" with Suda 51 of "No More Heroes" fame.

BINGO! With Microsoft it seems they feel they need to be "first out." They have pretty much reached their potential with the Xbox 360 and I would not be suprised that within 2 years, the Xbox 720 will be hitting the stores, because they won't be able to keep up with the PS3 (which is just scratching the surface of it's potential).

I'm actually kinda effin' excited about the Jeopardy game coming out. I love me some Trivia.
I think this is going to be a re-defining game for Next-Gen consoles. One that Microsoft will not be able to match..even with Alan Wake. I'm stoked for this game!
I dl'ed the demo from the Playstation Store. It is pretty effin' good. Much better than the majority of the previous Star Wars games. I really with they would release a new KOTOR console game though.
I'm really looking forward to this game. I don't know if I should rent it first or just go buy it. I love the Silent Hill series, but have been a little put off by a few of them.
Where it now seems that Microsoft has started reaching it's plateau with the 360, Sony is just starting to stratch the surface of what the PS3 has to offer in terms of capabilities.
I, for one, am sure glad I have a PS3 and will be there for the amazing ride that is sure to come with the PS3. Have fun with your 360, though..fanboys!

I swore I read somewhere that even if you download the HOME theme, you are still chosen based on your hours logged on the PSN and Playstation Store, hours of gameplay, number of trophies and number of friends. In other words...how active of a gamer you are.
Don't get me wrong, I like the idea of Life with Playstation as well. I just think we'll have to see what kind of movie rental service Sony will offer before anyone can go around saying things like, "it looks like Sony's movie rental service is set to rival that between Microsoft and NetFlix." Unless the author of this article has seen stuff we haven't yet?
The author of the original article says "the upcoming movie rental service looks set to rival the partnership between Microsoft and Netflix."
My question is how does he think Sony's movie rental service will rival Microsoft's? If you already have a NetFlix account...all the movies you rent from your XBOX 360 will be free. You will have to pay for each and every movie with Sony's service.

...wasn't "The Taxidermist" the first gameplay demo that Quantic Dream showcased the game with? So they are now just going to release this as a "pre-order" extra? Cool I guess, but it just feels re-hashed. Sorta like, "what should we do with this old demo? I know...let's use it to increase pre-order sales."
Regardless of that, I'm still stoked on this game and will be getting it when it comes out.
