I think GamePass plus a general shift towards digital would reflect this. It would be interesting to see, percentage wise of non game pass games, how much a game shifts physical vs digital between xbox and playstation in terms of actual units and percentages. Im curious to see the split as it may clue into buying habits of xbox vs playstation players
Yes. Yes it is. Because MS has the gall to tell players a game will ship with XYZ features (60 fps for example or Campaign split screen coop) only to then back track at the last second, charge 70$ for a game and say “oh we thought it would do well”
All while monetizing every single aspect of the game with loot and battle passes.
But it’s ok, it’s on game pass. You get to try it out for a dollar 🙄
Ahem
Noooooooooooooo
10. Buy up every publisher cause they can’t make a decent game anymore
Correction....quadruple-A studio. A term that literally carries no meaning given that another large studio is being brought in to help.
Its comical how much slack Xbox and MS gets. If this were to happen to sony or nintendo everyone would be touting doom and gloom for them. But for Xbox, all these Xbots/youtubers say how wonderful it is. Always with #excuses.
I agree with you. Just show us the games. I’m tired of promises. I (mistakenly) bought the series x at launch along with the ps5. The ps5 has been amazing, especially with the dualsense. I do like a lot of the QoL improvements the series x has on last gen games but I’m not playing anything on it that I couldn’t get a comparable experience on my previous one x. At this point I kind of feel like I should have waited until there was something truly series x that I wanted to play
Why don’t they fix the console versions first before working on dlc. Too many games come out now unfinished 🙄
I feel like doom eternal has literally no connection to doom 2016. Which is a shame since 2016 was pretty good. Doom eternal itself is good but I was hoping the DLC would have tried to connect the 2
I wonder what the breakdown is across devices. Surely microsoft sees this for Bethesda games and may be the reason that they're being so "iffy" about future ps5/sony releases
Cue the colteastwood fanclub stating how this is a good thing yet just last year were capping as the best game coming to Xbox and that its something PlayStation doesnt have/playstation is bad etc etc.
Im no fanboy of any console but I genuinely can't understand the future of xbox gaming. Gamepass hasn;t allowed microsoft FP to shine. I hope in 2022 or 2023 someone pulls this comment and reads it back to me stating how wrong I am after microsoft starts releasing HQ GOTY...
Exclusives. Sell.
*raughs*
Thar D+ for Microsoft feels a bit generous considering one of their best games still isn’t even out on Xbox (flight sim).
Is Xbox relevant anymore?
New the the capturing scene but don’t consoles have built in capture apps? Wouldn’t those make this unnecessary?
But it’s in stadia as well and actually runs quite well there!
I can’t find any reason to recommend getting a series x. But a cheap Xbox one s and game pass is a solid gift for any new comer to gaming. Then upgrade to the ps5 ❤️
I think I’m gonna laugh if next week there is a spike in Xbox one sales. Parents thinking it’s the new Xbox 😂
Good games sell a lot?
You don’t say?!?!?
Meh even with that I’m still more excited for the PS5. Gaming hasn’t been about services for me. It’s been about the games. It’s ALWAYS gonna be about the games. Game pass, XCloud, 12 tflops, 28478293 transistors sounds awesome. But give me games that make me go “fuck man, I NEED an Xbox.” I say this as a former 360 fanboy until 2010 when Sony started putting out banger after banger (so good that it made me switch my main platform). The PS4 has not only been a phenomenal even now with two of ...
Series x all digital edition...
SAD IS BACK BABY!
