Where has GoW2 talk been lately? For all of it's sales, that's one game that seemed to have come and gone. I guess folks went right back to playing CoD4.
"Why Dis"..
Killzone 2 is the overhyped one, not the Halo franchise which has been seen on Mt. Dew cans, Slurpee cups and you name it. Oh and:
"KZ2 hype is forced, Halo is recognized."
Yes, because 7-11 and Mt Dew and such knew Halo was such a good video game, it just *had* to be on their cups and cans. Get a grip, it's called marketing and it worked very well at a very high cost. It's nothing that was "recognized" so muc...
Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt, nothing more, nothing less.
IT'S A JOKE. Fake, false, a parody.. Cmon now. Did some of you even read it? It's a parody of the hype being built for Killzone 2, although perhaps you missed their tongues firmly planted in their cheeks.
I mean *really*:
"Another club member, David Smithyman, gladly shared his two cents on what makes Killzone 2 different from other video games. “Yeah, I, like, played a burned debug copy. I can’t tell you where I got it, but, like, man, in the first level I found a v...
Many 360 owners have a mental illness that causes them to not get a joke. Ironically, it's a joke in Sony's face making fun of the hype surrounding Killzone 2, you just didn't read it or possibly get it.
Because they said they had to use gasoline to get the fire going. You know if you had 2 dozen 360's stacked up, you'd only need to turn one of them on and it would start a blaze immediately.
Maybe it will open those gamers up to a new genre perhaps. I have a feeling most folks that played Halo for the first time never played a FPS before and were first introduced to FPS's, especially on consoles by Halo. This might be a good thing that expands gamers and popularizes RTS on consoles *hopefully* to the point they can work out the controls somehow.
Says it all:
"Massive fan of the Halo series."
We get it, you like Halo, but have you thought maybe the reason it's mentioned so much is due less to quality but more to do with something called Marketing? It's also the most seen game on Slurpee cups, Mountain Dew cans, baseball caps, T-Shirts at WalMart or Hot Topic, etc. MS spent millions marketing the game and that's the primary reason it's spoke of so much. The Halo series is a good, if rather simplist...
And it's funny as Halo wasn't originally a FPS and was developed for the Apple platform.
From the Wiki:
"On July 21, 1999, during the Macworld Conference & Expo, Steve Jobs announced that Halo would be released for Mac OS and Windows simultaneously.[51] Before this public announcement, game industry journalists under a non-disclosure agreement had previewed the game in a private showing during E3 1999,[52] and were reportedly amazed.[51][52] Bungie Studios later st...
And a horrible site. This was written solely for traffic based on trolling. I am sure the site had a nice traffic bump due to this crap they call gaming news. Can we stop having these tripe blogs around N4G? Take this guys ability to approve away also as he's approving his own articles which is a giant conflict of interest.
Step 1: Write up short, but trollish bit and fill page with ads.
Step 2: Submit to Digg and N4G.
Step 3: Hope is gets dugg, approve it yours...

What? Steam is much more than that. It offers chat, a store, achievements, stat tracking and much more. What does Live for Windows offer that this does not?
Been wanting to play this and I can't wait to play it on the PC.
To entertain your self-fulfilling prophecy.
And you don't have to be a fanboy to disagree with you, but you've got your mind made up on that as well it seems. Just as those you lambaste have their minds made up on the RRoD issue.
What compels a person to put up with any product after it failing on you 5 times? At what point do you say "Enough is enough.." and use that dollar to speak for itself as a consumer? It would be nice if we wouldn't condone and support such shoddy hardware as gamers so the next generation or other console makers don't get the idea that we put up with such junk. I wouldn't put up with going through 5 of any kind of product, it's got nothing to do with MS or the 360 specifically.
And? Does that mean Honda is in dire straights? Or Sony's TV division and Phillip's should have smear campaigns run against them as they are failing by comparison? Why is it so hard to grasp the idea that 20 million consoles is a great thing for gamers as a whole; we have 3 companies developing consoles selling very well. The high price is "killing" Sony? Really, killing them? Maybe not allowing them to sell as much as the 360 or even Wii are, but "killing" them? Cm...
If Sony cut the price of the PS3 and started selling even more, they would take a bigger loss in profits, in turn truly "killing" Sony.
The whole idea of there being a "1st", "2nd", and "3rd" place in consumer products only seems to exist in the video gamers minds. Who is in first place for TV sales? How about auto sales? DVD player sales? Who's losing the electronic shaver wars? More importantly, WHO CARES? All three top gaming com...
Now that I've found out the reason it hasn't hit NA is because of major technical problems that are still being worked out, I'm kinda glad it was tested on other markets first. Notice a patch for all territories coming when it hits NA.
Only salvaged by the FEAR 2 demo. They need an enema over at the PSN update division and get some folks in there that know how to kick a$$ and chew bubblegum. They have so much potential in the PS1 library and more, it's time to leverage that.
"Afternoon Delight" but I could be mistaken. Maybe it says, "This mom isn't right"?
