No one agrees with you bro. Exclusives are why I buy consoles and that’s the same for millions of gamers. I buy Nintendo for the exclusives, I bought a PS5 for the exclusives. I used to buy Xbox for the exclusives too (I own a series X), but this gen I only bought one for backwards compatibility with old school Xbox titles, and quickresume.
Nintendo has Metroid, Splatoon, Smash, Animal Crossing, F-Zero, Star Fox, Famicom Detective, Xenoblade, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, Kirby, Donkey Kong, and countless more franchises. Have you been under a rock this entire time? These are all multimillion selling franchises, and they fund projects like Bayonetta 2 and 3!
Look at the hardware overview trailer. Literally the first thing they say is “Nintendo Switch is a home video game console”

From the moment Nintendo announced the Switch, they called it a “home video game console.” Go look at the hardware overview trailer. They say it’s a home console you can take on the go. I primarily use mine docked, so mine is barely a handheld. I much prefer playing Nintendo games with a pro controller and on my 75inch oled tv with my bose soundbar.
Yet every entry in those franchises revolutionizes the industry when they release. They are the epitome of originality, no two games in the franchises are alike.
Astrobot bout to get smoked. I actually bought a PS5 again just to play Astrobot. Astrobot took so much from past Mario games, that I spent about 3-4 hours on the game, before it made me boot up Mario Galaxy on the Switch and play a true masterful work of art and platforming. Astrobot is about to hold the next 3D Mario Platformer’s beer 🍺
No it didn’t. The character models have more expressive animations, and there’s a much higher racer count from 12 to 24. I don’t think it looks next gen, I think it’s gonna be a crossgen release on Switch 1 and 2, but it’s definitely a step up from Mario Kart 8 on Wii U.
I hope they continue to innovate with their franchises. Look how drastically different BotW was, and Odyssey was compared to the other entries in those franchises. Splatoon also deviated mechanically to other shooters and was wildly creative. I want more out of the box thinking, now bolstered with much better hardware 🔥
Nintendo. PS games come to PC
1000000%
I loved the PSP at the time, but did not buy the PSP Go because it was digital ONLY which meant I’d have to repurchase my entire library 🤦🏻♂️

💩 game that I’ll never buy.
