Forgot to say, getting FPS in the 40s and 50s
I'm running it on ultra settings with film grain turned off at 1080p on a gtx 1080. Something else must be the problem.
I pay 4 euro for game pass and it's fantastic value, but I still can't fathom how they could make a profit on it 🤷♂️
I'll certainly be buying less day 1 games if they go up any more. Day 1 will be reserved for special edition games I want like Ghost of tsushima!

I absolutely loved this game but from the point of Barrett being killed and revived I started to be pulled out of the experience and then the ending I wasn't on board with at all. I guess it was a case of not expecting the story to take such a turn away from the original, plus the kingdom hearts like nature of the harbinger boss. No one seems to be talking about the fact games have gone up in price plenty across the world, only the US hasn't. Wen't from 60 euro to 70/75 euro start of the gen. I hear Canada is pretty damn expensive too. So is a price hike gonna happen for those of us who have already had that?
I think it's about the quality of the content within the length of the game. The goal shouldn't be a long game and then pad it out with rubbish just to create that length, in that sense a game could be too long.
I ran back and forth between the two areas and a couple shot gun blasts to the face. Took a few tries but not too difficult, though the darkness of the area can throw you off at the start.

It's just a game. If you feel justified in sending death threats to someone because you don't like a GAME, you need to seriously take a step back and look at yourself. Get some therapy, you really need it.

You trying to say that the writing doesn't include the direction of the story? Because it does. As well as pacing, dialogue between the chatacters (a lot of which was good), themes and how well those themes are woven into the story. There are a multitude of aspects ...

Clearly I'm talking about the people who didn't like the game, not the people who did, just as you were with your statement.
It's not the somber tone that people dislike, it's the poorly written story the jumps all over the place and tries too hard to be meaningful.
I wasn't as sold on U4 as I was hoping to be but it was still good and I thought Lost Legacy was a positive entry to the series. TLOU pt2 is the only real disappointment I've had from Naughty dog ever. So I wouldn't call it a "downward slop" based on one game I didn't enjoy. I would however like to see a new game from them that perhaps moves away from TPS (that's what, 7 TPS games plus left behind DLC?) and not be written by Druckman.
Not sure whether it's TLOU pt2 or BOTW for most overrated of the gen. It's one of those 2.
FF7 Remake, no doubt. Wasn't a fan of the ending but everything else was absolutely fantastic and it was such a joy to play!

Eh what? The first last of us had a better story and it was told better too. This story was fairly run of the mill.
Haven't got the remote but have you tried holding down the fast forward button? Just a thought at the top of my head.
