@skate that is true, but again, all we have to go by IS this demo. Unlike some I don't have to pretend it was some amazing presentation that blew my mind. It was a terrible demo of the game IMO and like you said, it is very possible that it is simply because it is a hard genre and game to demo.
@ank "The masses have not developed brain enough to even understand an on stage demo....let alone solving puzzles themselves"
You claim others don't ...
@ratchet "ICO had puzzles and "jumping across broken platforms", so i don't know what do you expect from a Team Ico game."
Where did you see "puzzles" in the last guardian demo? I can say, I surely didn't see a single one. What I did see was jumping across broken platforms ONLY to be saved last minute by your dogbird. There is a clear difference and I said it above, you just choose to ignore it and point out only what you want to hear. <...
Shadow and ICO are amazing games, ICO is probably my favorite ps2, at all. TLG had me extremely excited based on the devs history.
That said, the E3 demo was extremely disappointing. It consisted of jumping across broken platforms in which you are saved last minute by bird dog. Not even to a point that it seemed to have any real reason. He jumped onto one colapsing bridge just to push a cage off. Also, the art direction is beautiful, but the dog feathers are so jittery and di...
Also, I would like to point out for all those crying. I specifically pointed out that fanboys exist on both sides, and that both sides are capable of these kinds of views. The point was that "gaming websites" are now fueling this. Unfortunately, many here seem unable to read.
"Sadly, this double standard seems to be increasingly apparent. These short-sighted and incredibly inaccurate statements used to only exist in comment sections and rage induced forums. Now...
It is funny, you claim I am a hypocrite as well, yet you don't seem to provide a single instance in which that is true. I have the same standards and hold the same expectations for any publisher and any game. There isn't a single time it has been otherwise. I have never praised sony for something and blamed MS for the same thing, nor vice versa.
You have nothing to even provide that shows me as a hypocrite, and you have nothing to even show I have a bias. I have made...
"I personally think as gamers we should be praising publishers for bringing the quality content that they are bringing and enjoy what it is that we enjoy. Rather than bashing what we don't for no reason other than to appease our own bias."
"Aretn't you doing just that with this article?"
No actually, what publusher did I bash to suit my bias? The answer is none. How you came to aucha. Conclusion, or got any agrees for something so...
Well, obviously their attempt to standardize VR includes the fact that they own a console and mobile systems as well. They clearly want to make it fully usable for xb1 and potentially their tablets and phones too. Pretty sure manufacterers could handle a PC only API themselves, or at least one would expect they could handle it since it was the only planned platform.
Pretty sure we can expect VR to work fully (or mostly so) with XB1 and win 10 phones, tablets and PC's.
Umm ... is this even news. You don't even need to any education or special knowledge to know this.
PC gains will be larger than console. No question, never was.
I agree, they said it has been in developement for 14 months and comes out in what one would guess is 10 months.
24 months to make a brand new IP is amazing. It also is concerning to an extent, but with the names that are behind it, it all seems possible.
Yea, that is where I am at. Everything that we know sounds great, but if the gameplay doesn't look good it win't matter. I will say I am very interested to see more, should see it soon since it comes out in spring 2016.
As gaming peripherals I think they will flop big time, but they, hololens especially, could really hit stride with other entertainment forms.
Forza 6 is 1080p 60fps, looks beautiful and has split screen. In fact, I don't think any major title thus far has been 60fps and split-screen capable on any console. I may be wrong though.
They should have just made it possible for framerate, res, etc to be lowered to achieve split-screen like games have done since the begining of time.
I think it IS exactly what they say it is, and more actually. The question is, how long will it really be interesting. If it has enough interesting things to do I can see spending a lot of time on this game. I could equally see it being really cool for a few hours then never playing it again.
Either way if it ends up being a $20 title, I will buy it. 5-10 hours of really good and interesting gameplay seem worth it.
If it becomes a $60 title, I think it has a...
""SONY will not get any money from the KS, they will help to finance the PS4 version and will also help for advertisement."
***********(Finance the PS4 version and help for advertisement is EXPLICITLY stated here. Notice how NOBODY can assume or jump the gun and say that he meant 'fund development' because he literally states what the money is for. No "Marketing and marketing" here nick) ***********"

@outside man this reply is completely unecclessary as nothing youposted contradicts anything I have said, but I want to show you noneof tjose things are ignored. They just don't change anything. First, I request you answer my previous comment, your reply to that is enough to prove my point.
That aside:
"Q: Will you collect a development cost by kickstarter alone?
A: No, by aggregate of YS NET's independent fundraising and kickstarter. "
@daniel "You're making it seem like they are controlling the project behind the scenes. And u simply dont have any proof."
So I ask where I said "Sony is funding the entire game" and your response was to repeat yourself just use different words?
I never said that, I never said anything like that. You are just making up things in your mind, which you would see by simply rereading my comments. You have deluded yourself so far that you tr...
@daniel "They aren't funding the entire game like u keep trying to make it seem."
It is hilarious, because I never said that at all, in fact, my atory now is EXACTLY what it was originally, just with more facts to support it as you guys continually change your stances. Man, you guys are something else.
First I was wrong because sony wasn't giving any money at all and yu said the kickstarter was the only cash flow. (Even though he never said...
@kuapika hmm excellent argument, call me a fanboy followed by a "butthurt" mention. Classy. I am such a fanboy, i never call MS out for BS and I never praise Sony for good choices, right? Just because you are a hypocrite who is willing to hold two different standards for MS and Sony doesn't mean I will.
"MS never showed interest in Shenmue III considering thwy could have fundet it"
Then following it up with completely made up stories b...
I have no problem with the game, in fact it coming back is great. (Despite the method) However, Sony promoting a kickstarter for a game they are already actively funding and using the kickstarter as a way yo gauge customer interest is not good. As well, yu pushing for this method is just as bad, if not worse.
We know for a fact Sony is funding marketing and developement, yet they are asking fans to fund the game also? Again, I want these same people praising this practice to ...
@godmars YOU posted this quote from me, a quote that has nothing to do with anything you just said.
"I personally think as gamers we should be praising publishers for bringing the quality content that they are bringing and enjoy what it is that we enjoy. Rather than bashing what we don't for no reason other than to appease our own bias."
To which you called me a hypocrite. However, I did not participate in any of the actions in that quote. Not o...
