Looks promising indeed. I have no idea why they didn't show this at their press conference.
I believe that they've been working on it for a very long time, but as both their and the public's expectations are so enormously high, it has been pushed forward and been remade several times. Ultimately, and sadly, it will probably be pushed forward until the end of time...
Yeah, that would be so awesome because then the developers would become really motivated to make more awesome games for it.
Yeah obviously it needs to be either the best or the worst thing in the world. Obviously.
I'll also be buying the 3g version. I will however not sign up for any data plan (at first), as I'm merely getting it to be future proof. What I mean is that if they at some point in the future decide to implement some kind of feature, unique to the 3g version, I won't be left behind feeling like a fool. I've no idea what this feature could possibly be, but one never knows, and after all it's not that much more expensive, imo.
I can not have been the only one who first read Portal 3, could I?
I wonder if they fixed the bland, emo, naïve and childish characters.
Don't you know? The media decides who invented what! For instance: it was impossible to use your cellphone for anything but dialing before iPhone.
That's a wake-up call right there. If they still don't get that people don't like their western plus more "action-oriented" approach... I don't know what will.
I'll be excited when I next play it
It's truly retarded how the author of this article belivies that he can just walk into a store and get information on something, which is yet to be announced. What's this guys next article gonna be like? Him calling Playstation customer service asking when playstation 4 is gonna be released? The dude who answers replies "I think, perhaps, sometime early next year" Brilliant, now I bloody know! Now why don't I write a article with the headline "Playstation 4 being re...
here's a great interview which details kind of how the game will be played, plus that it has a few screenshots not included in the link above, popping up every now and then.

I think that they may have started developing another game for the next generation but are doing this on the side, as the time between their games (their income) would have been too far apart otherwise.
It will be interesting though to see what they can accomplish gameplay-wise, when they have less emphasis on graphics.
the swedish word for "white" is "vit", so it's only the google translator struggling a bit :P
to me it looks more like hmmm... allright. It would have been nice to see some comparison photos with the original. However I don't really care much about the graphics, I'm just looking forward to the multiplayer
Couldn't agree more. While it's great that Nintendo and Microsoft are trying to expand the gaming market and get more people to play games, I'm a little afraid that they are changing their market instead of expanding it.
@PsycheMax
Have you ever spent much time on creating a decent level in LBP? If not, then I don't really think you can understand his frustration. I once spent roughly 30 hours creating a level in LBP and 3 months later 1 Person had played it. I wondered what had went wrong, I had even given it a easy-to-find name, or so I thought. Because when I searched for the keyword of my level. I couldn't even find it after going 20 "pages" down. And I gotta tell you, 90% of the...
That is a true statement but I rather have developers talk too much than not at all.
Every maincharacter in FFXIII deserves to be on that list tbh.
edit: hadn't seen that two ppl below me had written just this but good to see that I'm not alone.
How about waiting until we actually we know something about the game before dooming it? "More approachable" can mean many things. I wouldn't mind them simplifying a few annoyances, such as the covenant system, stats and perhaps even the story (without removing the mysterious atmosphere). There's so many little things they can fix without actually changing the difficulty or atmosphere of the game.
