I don't know why there are disagrees in this string of happiness.
That's a very nice thing for you to say, especially considering the site we're on. Bubble up to you, good sir.
No, it's not an Xbox One exclusive. It is truly a Microsoft exclusive.
I, as a man, am offended that I require the voice, grit and body of a COG soldier because that's what the game pushes on me.
*rolls eyes*
Minecraft is listed as a PS4 game but not an Xbox One game. :/
^ I think you mean fact$.
@SniperControl
Why do you say that?
You're being disingenuous.
"Dancing around" as you put it, is not the only way to utilize motion control. A simple tilt of the head in a certain manner for a command, for example, could be fantastic.
Shouting isn't necessary, either. A whisper on a stealth mission could greatly improve immersion.
Hell, with the kinect bundled in, we could see stealth missions in co-op or with the AI where the only form of communication avail...
There will come a time in the future where it will seem impossible for gamers to have ever gotten by without a gesture or voice command.
It's a gimmick as much as triggers and bumpers on earlier console controllers are gimmicks. Now they are integral and we (console gamers) couldn't imagine playing high end games without them.
But if facetime was run on Apple servers, rather than p2p, would you be upset with paying a fee to use facetime that goes to supporting and improving those servers?
@Abriael, if room is an issue then why were most of those same people who complained about the brick complaining about something along the lines of "I already have a cable box"?
It's knitpicking and fanboyism.
Ah, I don't have an iphone, so I didn't know. It still requires a connection though. A connection you have to pay for via the mobile companies or an ISP. Granted, MS is charging for an additional service, but facetime would require that as well if it weren't p2p and connected via servers right?
@StanSmith, good catch. I didn't notice that. The bottom is always lit up and the top half lights to complete it when powered on. That's neat. I wouldn't call it "pretty cool" but it's neat.
Yeah, RckTnz. You tell 'em! STOP GIVING GAMERS WHAT THEY ASK FOR, MICROSOFT! How dare you change your policies in accordance with your consumers' desires? That's untrustworthy!
Doesn't facetime on your iphone require a data plan?
@Saigon, I didn't meant to imply you weren't a gamer. Simply that the goal I hope we one day achieve is as I stated above and that's my opinion as A gamer. Just one gamer.
A monopoly isn't necessary to achieve that goal, however. They can keep churning out individual systems and supporting them, just allow them to connect to eachother. Then people could play what they want on what system they want.
@Insomnia_84
The 360 has had touch sensitive buttons for years as well. I'm not sure why he made such a big deal out of it, but let's not pretend Sony was innovative with the touch sensitive button on the PS3. Touch sensitivity was around long before that. Neither company is breaking any ground there.
Why do you even watch these videos?
@Saigon, I understand what you're saying but I don't understand WHY you're saying it. As a gamer, I will purchase both systems because there are exclusives on each I would like to play. Also as a gamer, I would like to one day be able to choose a single system and play all the games with all the people all the days. I would like to one day choose my preference (like Mac vs PC) and play with those who chose the other. There's headway being made in that department for console ga...
@TrollCraftTales
Unless those games can be played on anything but windows without an emulator, they're Microsoft exclusives. That's exactly the same as saying games that appear on multiple Sony systems are exclusives (which I do).
Halo stopped being good when they strayed from the winning classic formula and started partially emulating the class based gameplay of CoD and BF.
I'm very underwhelmed by Ryse, personally, and won't...
Smartglass isn't a windows only application.
