Great article, and the best part is the controller is light and comfortable! Now on to the possibilities. Smash Bros. and Pikmin 3 are confirmed for the system. And we might as well throw Zelda in here as that demo is gorgeous. For Pikmin 3, a management game, I couldn't be more excited for the implementation of the controller. In Smash Bros. it would be nice if some moves could be pulled off at the touch of the screen for even more fast pace smashes.
Me too....very unique.
Put the Wii U on pre-order and watch it go straight to #1.
They meant it is catered to everyone (but now in a more hardcore and casual way). It's about social gaming and personal gaming.
Day 1. It would be smart to launch this around Spring and spoil Vita's launch. Not in a bad way (before you slam), but in a competitive way.
Nintendo's most advanced console will fly like a bird.
There is no way I'm leaving Nintendo's most advanced console at the store...no way...lol.
Hmmmmm, well this game arrives late November/early December. You could buy the game and see if Nintendo launches Wii U Spring/Summer. Wii is only $150, by the holidays Best Buy or walmart will have $50 gift cards with the purchase making it only $99. It's worth it at that price regardless when Wii U comes out. Just my thoughts.
If Nintendo gets this game out within 6 months of Wii U launch, nothing can stop this system from getting a great lead on next gen.
"Skyward sword will likely appear to be the biggest, most content packed game so far in the series. It should keep us coming back for more, and more. Replay after replay."
I hope you are right although I can tell it will be awesome. I love replaying games in the Zelda series as it is.
Online gaming is very important to us, and we’ve heard the demands really of the veteran gamers that want that,” Scibetta begins. “So we’re going to be more flexible with gaming this time when it comes to online and we’re going to work with our third-party partners.”
He continues, “We’re not going to have a centralised, one-size fits all type of online gaming approach – it’s going to be more the publishers figuring out what they want to do, and then we’ll try and work to br...
At the prices they are...you could get both...or wait till one drops price. I prefer 3DS first and wait to see if Sony can deliver enough games I am interested in. PSP kinda was meh to me in the games department.
Great for 3DS. :)
The Wii is leading in hardware and software. :)
Yep, I'm assuming you mean North America. SNES was released in August (Summer). 3DS in Spring.
Take the family to the real Disney World...lol.
I can appreciate a little humor at Nintendo's expense once and a while...lol. It's not easy taking risks and leading the industry, but those risks pay off for Nintendo as all of their systems have been profit for them.
The wii has sold 87 million, saying it will hit 100 million shouldn't piss you sony fans off. It's actually the truth.
That's why the Wii has been #1 worldwide for the past 3 weeks? Go look it up. Haters lose everytime.
well mark his words and i'm glad he said this...
