I would buy a console if.....
1. It had native Keyboard and Mouse support.
2. I could play games at 120fps(absolutely can't stand anything below 110) and true/native 120Hz(DVI-D,Displayport)
3. I could play games at a resolution higher than 1920x1080. Also DOWNSAMPLING,DOWNSAMPLING,DOWN SAMPLING!!!!!
4. It supported Occulus Rift.
5. It had a modding community.
6. It had a digital distribu...
I can see why that would seem ridiculous to most gamers but it is what it is. 120Hz monitors, low frame latency, high framerates will give you an unrivaled experience visually and in terms of player input. And people who haven't experienced this well its their loss.
I'd never play games at less than 120fps. I try to stay well over 120 in fact, even if it means dropping the resolution and sacrificing IQ.
Ah good times with the cod4 star wars mod. This has the potential to be amazing thanks to disney $$$'s.

Praise based lord Gaben. It's about fucking time, I'd also like to thank Sony for building a capable a machine. Let the games begin. Time to get me a Titan.
It got cancelled confirmed on twitter earlier today.
What are the chances gta 5 has the weapons targeting/animations from Max Payne 3 also developed by R* and using their latest engine. No game comes close to it in my opinion.
Far Cry 3 in Eyefinity.

I didn't know there was a pattern, I only recently moved here to the US. Back home I was running on a dual core with a 5770.
God I hope Nvidia releases the 700 series early next year. There is no way my 580 is going to cut it.
Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad looks amazing and is one of best mmofps I've ever played.
Uncharted 2 and 3 are the only games I've always wanted to play on PC at higher resolutions and with a keyboard and mouse. This game looks great, definitely buying it, but it lacks Nathan Drake, coolest mofo in the world.
This game would be awesome if it had Batman Arkham series' combat system.
"Good morning, Mr. Bleszinski. The job, should you choose to accept it is to make a game unlike any other, a team of highly capable developers have been assigned as your team. Failure to do so and the secretary will disavow all knowledge of your actions. This phone will self-destruct in five seconds."
Now I'm off to play Skyrim all over again.
And this is a good thing for us PC guys as well. I hope they are beastly too, but with cost restraints, average consumer affordability I'd doubt they are THAT beastly.
I've been playing without the blue tint and sunglare for about 3 weeks now, thanks to Realmware Color Tweaker, great guys they are.
Hardly an evolution.
I played Bf3 for a couple of hours on my brother in law's 240Hz Samsung TV, suffice to say there wasn't any difference AT ALL as far as 2D gaming goes. The only benefit you'll see from a 240Hz screen over a 120Hz is 3D and I hate 3D. As a matter of fact he was the one who recommended a 120Hz monitor since I didn't want anything to do with 3D.
High refresh rate(120Hz) and low respose time is much more important to me.
