Ok lets say a game is partially developed using the cloud therefore it is integrated into the games overall architecture, cloud goes offline and suddenly that single player game you were playing will not be playable. This also means if the cloud is used for single player games they might not be playable offline not even mentioning the multiplayer side of things.
