Something has to be done about internet providers around the world first.
Yeah, there are plenty of games that aren't on the Xbox or PC, and thus not on Gamepass. All Gamepass is doing is making them compete with themselves.
I wish they'd do a new release of DoDonPachi Blissful Death.
The other statement from Sony saying to get the disc drive version doesn't contradict this. The disc drive is used to validate the discs. It's really not that hard to understand if you actually read what's been written, which unfortunately seems to be too much for some people to handle. Not that mistranslations from bad western gaming websites are helping, of course.
Sony did something like it with the UMD Passport service on the PSP/Vita years ago, which used your PSP and PSN account to validate UMD discs and let you get the download versions with the same PSN account on the Vita... For a price. They usually charged something like 200-500 yen ($2-5) per download, which was paltry compared to the original prices which were mostly 5000-8000 yen, but yeah it wasn't free.
What "isn't true", the information coming straight from the Sony Japan customer support rep who took the time to check with the people who know about how the stuff works? https://tr.twipple.jp/p/6f/... Or the UMD Passport service?
People in Japan already asked customer support and got confirmation that the PS5 won't be running PS4 games from the discs, it'll be using them as keys to run the PS5 download versions of the titles, which also means that if a PS4 title is disc-only you can't run it on the PS5. And this isn't new for Sony, they did the same thing with the PSP > Vita.
>inb4 it's priced at $100 with no English text on Steam and never on sale
"Maybe" is the keyword
No shit it's not a monopoly?
"1+1 is not 5, mathematician says"
Very good news. I hope BB gets sued, this is some inexcusable shit they've tried to pull. I also hope Frogwares republishes the game on their own, it's actually quite good.
Bomber Girl for PC when
Did they demonstrate how they ripped off Sekiro and Bloodborne too?
This game looks crazy and I love it
Very appropriate. Screw Epic and Fortnite but other devs shouldn't have to suffer because of it. Ideally though other devs should get off the Unreal Engine but that's just unrealistic I guess.
Ryza's characters were great but as an Atelier game it was terrible, the story had basically nothing happen, and it was like 20 hours long with no alternate endings. It's sad that it got so much more attention than all the much better games solely because of simps latching on to the art.
I hate these VN episodic releases. Frontwing is doing it too and they're taking a regular VN, cutting it up into tiny pieces, and then charging for them so that you get the same amount of content for 2-3 times the original price.
Japanese devs don't have the money or manpower to do real AAA stuff.
There's just no winning here. Whenever they release a pre-rendered CGI trailer, people always go "FAKE!!!!! SHOW US THE REAL GAME!!!!!!!!". For once they actually started off showing realtime footage, and people just start complaining about the graphics looking bad. The game won't be out for, what, at least two years? The platforms it's going to be on aren't even out yet. Why would the graphics be anything close to complete at this point?
