Good question, Sony Online Ent. has yet to charge (at least from what I remember) but keep in mind, this is a different breed of MMO it's more open. Hence why it's also going to Windows but who knows it could be free of fees. But I doubt it.

It's nice to hear that on a console that's looked at primarily for it's heavy use of realistic graphics that a good dev/team (Jaffe/EAT SLEEP PLAY) would take more interest in the gameplay. I believe the game is gonna look good regardless but that gameplay is gonna be the main attraction, since that's what it was all about in Twisted Metal.

Well that's Unfortunate, oh well, 2K games favors the 360 anyway they did something similar with Borderlands (exclusive DLC). But hopefully PS3 owners don't take this the wrong way and will still support the game. But I think making a beta exclusive is... a bad marketing strategy.
The Only reason why Nintendo is "down" is because it has been a lot units for past few years but sales do slow down it just seems as if sales went down futher for Nintendo this year. Actually I remember this happening last year but eventually the ended up setting a month record selling 3 million units in one month, we'll just have to wait and see what the fall brings. Consoles all around are performing better than any other generation.

Without reading the article, why it's inevitable; Millions play CoD, Activision wants more from that. It's the "what have you done for me lately?" Story. Yeah, you bought and supported their game at launch, bought the DLC and basically promote it when you say "I'm playing CoD: Whatever title online," but they'll want more from that success.
