You are aware this game was in development before Overwatch, yes?
The author seems to be making an odd point. They basically went into this game rather interested in seeing a game portray mental illness... but because it wasn't utilized in the way they liked, they all of a sudden turn it around into a clickbait headline which actively flames the mental illness as a game narrative device.
Tragic events and illnesses are used as narrative devices all the time. It's what helps provide conflict in stories.

Erm... the Wii sold something like 100 million consoles. I don't even think the PS4 sold that many yet. The PS2 sold about 150 million. I doubt the Switch is going to be as popular as either.
Is the Switch going to do well? Absolutely. It's going to crush the Wii-U by a fairly wide margin, I would guess. But claiming it's going to top the original Wii is just bananas. It sold because of its gimmick and because it was only $200. The software attach rate, on the o...

Not bad for the price, but one could also get the positively reviewed Vizio M series from 2016. The 55" at this point I believe is $650. $50 extra and I believe you can get the 2017 model which comes with WCR. They really are great budget sets. I've got the 55" M55-D0 myself, and do not regret his purchase one bit. It had some noticeable dirty screen effect at first, but once the set was broken in with a bit of viewing, it has dissipated greatly, and it's got great uniformit...
Eh, this set can be problematic. It has really great brightness levels for HDR and does WCR and all, but, the one thing that really scares me is that the bezel, being as thin as it is, is actually bonded to the panel with some sort of industrial glue. People have experienced the heat from within their set actually causing this glue to weak, with the panel and bezel ultimately separating from one another. That's a huge gamble. Besides, this one isn't exactly 'budget'. It's ...
That's not a serious defect rate. That's less than 10%.
Yes, this video totally makes me wish I didn't have a Switch, all because some idiot didn't use his hardware correctly. Oh, and by people who take the hardware apart. And by people who don't bother to buy screen protectors.
Good grief. There's a fail rate with stuff. It happens. I doubt the fail rate on the Switch is a dumpster fire type situation. It's just 2017... more people have access to reporting this kind of stuff.
I don't really see the problem here. It's not a matter of 'never access your content again', it's a matter of deactivating your account on one console, and then activating it on another. They're doing this to curb piracy.
If your console dies and you have no way to deactivate it straight from the console, I'm sure a call to Nintendo could probably straighten it out. If they can't and say, 'oh well that's too bad, you'll have ...
He didn't say they were jumping ship. He was saying there's great potential for the third parties already working with the 3DS to now produce for the Switch.
"...will be jumping on board."
The sentiment is lovely, but if Nintendo really wants this thing to actually sell... well, yes, they do. No, people by and large won't be playing each year's Call of Duty on this thing, but a large part of the 3DS's success was the fact that it has plenty of third party support. A lot of my favorite games on that platform are third party. A lot of the recommended best 3DS games of all time are third party.
Not to mention historically speaking, consoles with...
This only seems to be affecting licensed products. It's probably a distribution rights issue.
Well for 2TB, special edition console and controller, and the ultimate edition of Gears 4, price ain't bad :)
I posted the new leaked info days ago and it didn't get enough votes. And I was the source.
Good job.
I just did a custom build through HP at the beginning of the year for about $1200. Included an i7 4790k, gtx 970, and 16gb of ram. I have basically dropped console gaming since, save for the rare exclusive.
"Now, Vivendi have said they don’t want to own Ubisoft, but certainly want a spot on the board.". Etc.
;)
Ubisoft definitely isn't quite as awful as many make them out to be. Their core game franchises are quite iterative, but they also publish a bunch of othet games that their major AAA dev teams aren't responsible. It's that iterativeness of their core franchises that have recently allowed me to finally tire of them. I'm hoping that changes, and that they innovate further in the future.
I don't know if it will be this year, but Crash is indeed happeninf.
Sounds like salt from someone who was banned.
Look, it's an online game and cheating means you essentially break the experience for everyone else you're playing with. It's an asshole thing to do... Incredibly sefish.
You cheat, and you knowingly run the risk of being banned. Sayonara and never return, I say.
You're entirely missing the point.
It's not that 'the game can only be won using MT's'. You do realize that their very implementation changes the way the game is designed from the ground up, yes? It introduces artificial bloat to the game... extending the gameplay experience in order to sucker some people into spending money.
No, this game does not require you to spend real world money. But the late game, from what people are saying, ...
