yeahright2, we voiced our opinion for Battlefront II and now they are not using them in the upcoming Battlefield game or Anthem. So no, we are not at their mercy because we as consumers can continue to vote with our wallets. There is more out there than EA and Activision if they continue to push pay to win models in the future. On the flipside we have seen Fortnite do it properly, so much so that it's become more popular than any EA or Activision title. Same with Overwatch.
Maybe your attitude should change because you have still yet given a good reason why not? Games in general are becoming more and more social now, why does the PS4 now have a share button built in?
That's what it should be all about, having fun together.
Rainbow Six Siege went from an average game to very good. Post launch support has been excellent. I don't think some of you really understand what GaaS is. GT Sport is also what I would consider a GaaS game and it too has been very good.
VR isn't dying but it is also not really growing. Until mainstream developers jump onboard with aaa support it will continue to be aimed at enthusiasts much like driving wheels.
Sony is kind of doing it now but I don't think PlayStation Now works on mobile. Google is rumored to be doing something and I could maybe see Amazon getting involved too. It is a nice option but we still need dedicated hardware as well, it should remain optional.
"Short term its a great deal, I get it but long term you better not change your mind about xbox, ever, cause you can forget everything you ever bought while on Gamepass. This is why I'm sceptical about it, you own nothing,"
This is just pure fallacy. Game pass has actually shown that sales of games improves because of Game Pass. Phil Spencer said he was quite surprised at the impact Game Pass has had on software sales. It could be attributed to your friends seeing...
Sony by far. Detroit and God of War were both excellent titles. Spiderman will be huge too. All Microsoft has really coming is Forza Horizon 4 and State of Decay 2 and Sea of Thieves were not exactly stellar titles. Nintendo will continue to rely on Wii U ports and Smash is rumored to be some old assets of the Wii U game. Mario Tennis looks fun.
MLB The Show is the top of its class but this is a very fun game too. The base running controls take getting used to though.
MAG was great, so were some of the SOCOM titles. It seems like Sony caters to the most vocal fans. Ever notice on the forums so many talk about how much they enjoy single player games but not online and this is where Sony keeps heading aside from GT Sport. Same thing with crossplay, Sony talks about how they don't need it with consoles and look here, the same vocal crowd echo's those same sentiments.
I would like to see Sony be more flexible and continue to push in...
There are lots to play. Nioh, Nier, God of War, Resident Evil 7, Pillars of Eternity II, Kingdom Come Deliverance, Detroit, Divinity: Original Sin 2, X-COM 2, Donkey Kong Freeze.
