They don't throw away money. The 360 will probably get the same content months later in the form of a re-release, but thats like a consolation prize to them. I'm sure they would have rather kept the game exclusive.
Between Sep-Oct-Nov theres 9 games (that I know of) coming to the PS3 that I HAVE TO PLAY ;)

Wasn't this supposed to be their AAA title for the summer? If you want to play the TRUE next gen NinjaGaiden get NGSigma for the PS3. It owns NGII. Whats the next "AAA" exclusive coming to the 360. Oh yeah its "Too Human" LOLZ!!!!!
a "$1000 gamer rig" isn't needed to play PC games (even Crysis). chances are i've got the same pc setup as any other average person out there. and if your video card has a TV out, then it only takes about a minute or less to hook it up to a tv. i do that sometimes but i never had a problem with playing games at my desk.
and stop re-releasing 15-20 year old games on the DS/PSP. They need to get Last Remnant, Final Fantasy XIII, and other next gen games out of the f**king door already. Next gen started in 2005 and their about to release their FIRST next gen game on the 360 this September!! Look at what Capcom's done this generation with DeadR & DMC4 and Konami's about to drop MGS4 & SH5. They're the only Japanese developer that hasn't done jack sh!t. I can wait 6 months to a year for the PC versions and its not very hard to avoid spoilers. I just don't see the point in spending $300+ on another console when the majority of its top games end up on my PC ;)
