the first dead rising 3 patch (6gb) allowed you to be able to play the game while it was downloading it.
1. the update is needed for co-op play to be compaliable, how else do you expect content that do you dont have to show up when you are playing with others.
2. the patch over-writes files, and only uses 1 extra gig.

@jimbobwahey, the timer goes by faster when you get a kill. When you kill a human player the timer goes down faster than when you kill an ai.
blue point are amazing at ports. if its them the 360 version will be great :)
