To this day I still miss some good old fashion Conquest matches from BF2 because it was my first FPS that I really got into playing online for any extended period...

Yikes....I was almost giving up on EVER seeing this game get released and that Tech Demo floored me. If they can get a smooth control interface to go with that level of detailed gaming, then RE5 is gonna be forced to bring its A-game for sure....Wooooo-Hooooo....compe tition....nothing better for gamers!!!!
I will preface this with the fact that I currently own all systems - Wii, 360, PS3, gaming PC and still have an original XB and several PS2s in use.

Am I missing something here? This game looks like a side-scrolling 2-D game with a level editor tacked on and the ability to have a Mii-like character to play with....what else is there that makes this game such a pending uber-hit?

At BEST, this looks like a mildly entertaining game for about 10 minutes, beyond that though I can't see why anyone in the world would EVER lose their job or have this take away gaming time from a truly AAA title like MGS4, KZ2, GT, or about a dozen other games...and that's just on the PS3 side. Oh well...just another game that will be played out by the time it sees the light of day on PS3....that is getting to be a pretty impressive list of games already.
I still think that the gameplay on GRAW2 is going to be far better than anything I have seen from Warhawk though.
Graphics look very nice, no question from me on that.....BUT....the game is essentially about flying around on dragons...that might be cool for about the same length of time as Motorstorm - a week or two at the outside...meh, I'll rent it first for sure...
This is just another example of Sony's flawed PS3 strategy...shyt, by the time I could get this or R6:V on PS3, Ubi will be rolling out new versions again for the 360...
If the PS3 versions don't suck as bad as every other port to date has compared to its 360 equivalent, then I can see these as a rental, but if Sony wants me to consider actually BUYING a PS3 game, it might just help to help day and date releases with the 360 versions...

I have played Resistance, and this clip looks better. The game is probably not as long as Resistance, but certainly has promise...this one was not even on my radar before seeing this. Gotta love free demos!!!

If this gamne does NOT look better than that craptacular waste of film I would smash my PS3 in the street! We are talking about a game console that is supposed to be "4D" right? Well, if it can't smoke a 6 year old CGI movie then it is hopeless to deliver on any of its promises for this generation of hardware.

I am hopeful that Ian and company will get some things done this year that have been sadly lacking since the advent of XB360 and PS3 as the lead systems some 3 years ago.
