After seeing that you think you can't tell the difference between 720P and 1080P on a screen smaller than 52", I quit reading. Because you clearly know nothing about HD or Tv's. Whether you can tell the difference between the two relies mostly on your viewing distance. Sure, if you were 40 feet away, it would be tough, but if you sat 8 feet away from a 52" TV, you would CLEARLY tell the difference between 720P and 1080P. Go educate yourself before calling people fanboys.
I really hate people who say this crap, as if all rumors are complete bullcrap. You do know that there are things that are called "leaks", right? Writing off the idea of a price cut when there is this much evidence is absolute ignorance. I don't need a stupid "official" announcement from Sony to know a price cut is imminent.
Sure, Home has a few hiccups, but most people never run into them. Just because there are a few glitches being experience doesn't mean that everyone is experiencing them. Comparing Home today with Home six months ago, shows me that Sony is well on their way to delivering what they promised.
Is this the first time you've been to this site (or any gaming site)? I don't know a single person who was content with purchasing their arcade. They were ill-informed when they bought it and are now kicking themselves for making the purchase. So, I'm pretty confident the use of the word "most" is very much justified.
Maybe you are just upset that you purchased one, and as a normal human being, you are attempting to justify your purchase. You know damn well you ma...
I don't understand your facepalm. Were you expecting an elaborate name? You have "Racers", "Monsters", "Eden", and now "Shooter". I don't know about you, but the name fits like a glove.
I thought that pixeljunk has already come out and said their next game would be a "dungeon crawler". However, they said it won't be done in the traditional sense, what ever that means. I think this company putting out a dungeon crawler would be a home run.
Since January 1st, all PS3 games are required to be Trophy Compatible. So, buying a non-trophy supported game is slipping into the past.
I hate it that people say Home will always be updated, so it will never be out of Beta. Windows is also always updating, and so is Firefox, but they are out of Beta. They will release themselves from Beta, when the system is stable. Stable, meaning, they can add new places without it bringing down the house (see what I did there). Because they are always receiving updates is not a reason to stay in Beta.
This has been a feature on the PS3 since the beginning and every time it is brought up in a fanboy discussion, all the 360 owners say that a browser is stupid and a browser isn't needed on a game system. But, I'm sure if they all were just to be honest with themselves, they would tell the world they are all dying for a browser on their 360. I think Microsoft (a software company) could put out a browser that was two times better than the PS3's. And there is no doubt in my mind, that when an...
This is pure greed. There was a time where Blockbuster looked like they were the greedy ones. Now, Blockbuster loosens up and Netflix makes a bold and very dangerous move by adjusting the rates for the media likely to take over the market. I have a feeling, Blockbuster is going to be able to take advantage of this without doing a damn thing.
This would make sense if it was made on the 360 and then ported over, but games that are individually designed for each system, tend to turn out better for the PS3.
First console to use DVD? First console to use Blu-ray? Not to mention, the first console to use Cell Architecture. Yeah, Sony are a bunch of copycats.
The Playstation franchise has been quite innovative (especially when it comes to hardware). When it comes to hardware, I believe Sony beats out the competition, by far. Nintendo comes up with some cool games (combined with their accessories), but their hardware in their console is far from being innovative. Microsoft's har...
