I tried to give Socom a chance. It's just bad. I traded it in for Fallout 3.
Don't get excited. February 2009 is when the official Team ICO magazine will be released in print. It says so if you actually read it.
I remember that I had the SNES version of SFII and I thoght the graphics were amazing! After playing SFII Turbo HD Remix in the classic mode, I'm like wow that's so outdated. Can you imagine how goudy-eyed we used to be about graphics back then? So embarassing.
I agree that if Microsoft crushes Sony in hoilday sales, they have every right to claim themselves as the winner of this gen console war. At some point it will be impossible for Sony to catch up. Does Sony really care at this point? Where is the advertisement for Killzone 2? Sure hardcore gamers like myself are aware of this game, but most gamer depend on commercials to decide on new games. I just don't know what Sony is thinking. I'm happy with my PS3, but I know others can't enjoy the same ...
I'm not asking for much, but I would like to add a Lamborghini Gallardo or Audi R8 to my profile. You know, small stuff.
By then it will be too late.
I was a little discouraged to play this after one week. Maybe I'll start playing it again.
You need to play SOTC. It's an experience you'll never forget.
Just look at some of the PS2 forums. You will see that there are many PS2 owners who refuse to buy a PS3 because it's too expensive and they're satisfied with growing PS2 library. Continuing to focus on development for the PS2 is hurting the PS3. Sony just doesn't get it.
There is such a thing as milking a product too much. Like it or not, but Microsoft did the right thing by abandoning the Xbox. Xbox owners had no other choice but to jump to next gen which consisted of the 360 ...
That's how parents work. They don't buy things a child may not want."
LoL at the times I've received lousy birthday presents...Your parents may buy you the console of your dreams, but most parents aren't like that. If a parent is going to buy you a console, and can't afford the PS3, then get ready for the ultimatum...We can't afford a PS3, so it's either an Xbox, Wii, or nothing.
I agree 100%. People don't understand how cheap parents are. One year I wanted ...
I agree that Sony is in a little trouble, but I don't think it's all Sony's fault. Microsoft's and Nintendo's gaming strategy is bringing the gaming genre down. There really was no reason for the 360's price to drop so low other than to divert PS3 buyers. The Wii is innovative, but also a step backwards in technology. Should the attitude now be to make cheap consoles with less technological advancement?
The article has a point when it comes to the other Sony industries. My wif...
I was thinking about buying some Sony stock. It's going to be low for a while which is perfect for me.
I understand both sides of the argument. The 360 is affordable and consumers just want the console especially parents who know nothing about the consoles themselves. You can make the case that the PS3 comes well equipped right out the box. But it's not like Sony is marketing the PS3 that way. I have yet to see a PS3 commercial where Sony says "our system comes with WiFi, free PSN, etc." so most consumers don't know what we know.
The bottom line is the PS3 is expensive...
paracardium, there was a beta to address and fix these issues and and never happened. There is absolutely no excuse for the problems. Also, the beta was extended to handle the issues to no avail.
I'm calling Gamecrazy to see if I can return the game. I played the beta and I'm just tired of this crap.
My wife is Japanese and is attractive to me, but she says that she's not attractive in her country. Her best friend is considered attractive in Japan and I find her to be horrendous. Very weird.
Cool, I want this game bad!
This will only be available for the Wii right? Maybe PSN will get it eventually.
I alreadt have one of the characters after beating her in challenge mode.
If the PS3 continues to stay in 3rd place, will Sony have support from both gamers and developers for a next gen system or is this the end? I'm hoping for a price drop, but that would require Sony to lower their ego.
