Never heard of this game before. Trailer looks intriguing, gives off the creepy vibe like Bioshock's dystopian society.
I don't expect It to be free. But I also don't expect to pay so much for an upgrade.
Ok i might be a bit harsh, I too natively bought it because, it bears the "Shadowrun" name. But i mean what i said.
Overall, it was very disappointed experience for me. I played it on PC, which didn't help negate the negative feeling.
"Honestly, I would not have played it if was named anything else."
That was my point. The game was inspired by "Shadowrun" not a "Shadowrun" game.
I bought it expecting...
"after seeing 2007’s Shadowrun game, a first person shooter in which, unfortunately, he wasn’t involved in."
I reckon Weisman should have been glad & "fortunate" that he wasn't involve in the 2007's ShadowRun. Cause that game was (lacking a better term) "Shit".
2007's Shadowrun was essentially, just a shooter inspired by Shadowrun's use of Magic in a Sci-fi setting. Oh and it happens to bearing the name &qu...
Shadowrun Returns had been on my wishlist for awhile now. Glad IndieMonthly is doing a giveaway for this game.
I'm glad Shadowrun Returns, was true to what Shadownrun is all about. It is essentially a RPG game, with focus on RPG & story-telling elements as in the past ShadowRun games.
The FPS Shadowrun from Microsoft was a huge mess imo. It was a cool fps game, but it was essentially just another shooter. The game's plot wasn't set in the or...
Wtf did i just watch?
Touchlight 2 was really good. A much better experience than Touchlight was. I understand TL2 got compare alot with Diablo3. Although i am not a fan of the Cartoonish artstyle, I personally had a much better gaming Dungeon Crawl experience with TL2 over Diablo3.
Hope you folks at Runic Games, will bring more unique ideas into the sequel.
And More PS3: D7GD-A5NE-8KRG
Enjoy.
Lol, must be hard to write the article about an adventure game without revealing too much.
Awesome streams of projects coming out from Double Fine. Hope see more great games coming.
Wow, how come i never heard about this game? Its like a Dwarf fortress game in SPACE. However the map looks kind of small i wonder how big the Base can grow.
I saw alittle bit of the play-through so i don't spoil the game too much for myself.
Perhaps its my expectation, i was expecting a psychonaut-ish 2d adventure, was kind of disappoint it isn't but still share some similarity in the setting.
The hacking concept & setting to solve puzzle is really interesting. Maybe its just the early stage, i thought the game mechanism is rather over-powering, to appoint that i think it makes the puzzles easy to solve.
OMG!! Double Fine Giveaway.
-_-!!
Brilliant Game. Short, But Brilliant.
No Sequel? Damn. I hope Similar out-of-the-box concept will be apply to his next game. Looking forward ^.^
Love the setting & the narration. Very nicely done. Always have this nagging feeling that there is more to be discover, after completing much of the available routes. LOL, reminded me FEZ's there is always still Stones left unturned.
Interesting, not quite gaming related piece. However, dealing with external expectation projected onto one, is harder than it sounds. Cause at times reaching goals and fulfilling other's expectations be it work or family bring joy.
I reckon its also a question if external expectation for success is managed? As managed expectation, are within realistic means and achievable.
Looks like Galak-Z is shaping-up to be a great game, love the cartoon-inspired idea/concept of Galak-z. All the best for the launch.
Had been following GALAK-Z, really looking forward to the launch. Please come to PC soon :)
The Game's concept sounds interesting, wonder how well it will fit together. I am a big fan of Rogue-like games, but procedural stages usually can appear badly design.
