I agree with a lot of points here. I have gotten to the point where it doesn't deter me from playing at a near hardcore level. I just have to remind myself that sometimes stuff isn't going to go my way and if I die to something that is outside of any tangible control on my part, I just don't let it get to me.
But I would hope that more people would at least try these online modes, hopefully for more than 15 minutes. I didn't think I would enjoy Gears of War as...
Well, this sucks because I actually love The Mercenaries minigame. Ah well.
Nothing on Harvester? Someone's missing a huge chunk of gaming history.
A friend always told me "If you want to succeed as hard as you want to breathe, you will be successful."
I still have no idea what he smokes to this day.
I couldn't really get into Twilight Princess for some reason. I wouldn't say that I hate it, I just didn't like it as much as the rest of the games in the series (not counting CD-I games of course).
While I would be on the same boat, I have to ask... Where's our ME2 Complete Edition? o_O;
I would be surprised if it didn't show up on the Vita.
Wouldn't be the first time as there was a Tekken game on the GBA.
I think this goes along with what I said to many of my friends and colleagues that FFXIII-2 is going to suffer a lot from what isn't even the game's fault to begin with.
Sucks, I actually enjoyed FFXIII-2 to a large extent and place it among my most favored of Final Fantasy games.
The reveals aren't over yet. Jin can be seen in the second trailer posted but so far no in game render has been shown. Christie has also been hinted in one of the trailers... But seeing as Ono loves to troll the world, it's all speculation.
I remember there were some DRM tactics used in other games (Batman: AA included) but this glitch is really not a DRM mechanic but rather a flag that wouldn't properly trigger if certain events weren't played right.
My personal favorite DRM tactic? Micheal Jackson: The Experience on the DS. Vuvuzelas would play over all the songs.
"to force your hand to buy it at a specific retailer"
Intentional or not, I thought this line was funny.
I'm still sitting on my Castle Crashers Theme since the first NXE. After not changing it for awhile, I really haven't noticed it.
I really don't mind the ads myself. They were always on the dashboard prior to this update. Heck, just like you, I think it adds a bit of background to the silence.
PS3/Ver 2.0 is still in the plans for late 2012... I hope those that are interested are still indeed interested by then.
I would kill for Tetris... but I wouldn't pay for a season pass.
I'd say they're more like killstreaks. They don't activate unless certain conditions are filled.
"Even with UMvC3, I decided to not purchase the game and some people seemed to dislike that."
He never bought the game. Out of the four writers that we have on the site, I'm the only one that really took what Capcom did and thought nothing of it. The author is really not someone that I would call a Capcom fanboy (he really isn't compared to another writer we have). I wouldn't call myself a Capcom fanboy either, I just love fighting games.
Dark Phoenix was really stupid. However, I think the exchange for Strider Hiryu with X-Factor Lv3 and Ouroboros, initially, seems just as bad. We'll have to see how it boils down in tourney play later.
This was posted yesterday. A Nintendo rep told another outlet that the games will be coming out this year.
I'm a pretty big fan of Tales of Eternia (or Destiny 2 in the US) and Tales of Destiny Remake. The thing is that both of these games are also pretty old and you'll either like them or you'll hate them, especially when compared to the newer titles.
I would say that if you can find these games, they're worth checking out if you want crazy 2D combos and complicated battle systems that resemble a Marvel vs. Capcom combo video.
