Motherpuncher, goddamnit, I already bought the regular edition.
I'm leery of anything upcoming from Capcom after that neat little feature in Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D that doesn't let you delete the game save. I really don't want that to become a trend for Capcom, especially when as you said, Dragon's Dogma holds a great amount of potential.
Microsoft paying for a day one launch of FFXIII on 360 was not their best decision as a company. The 360 version served to highlight the system's weaknesses, namely the limited DVD space and the trouble it had running a game designed specifically for the PS3.
They would have been better off investing in a Lost Odyssey 2 and making it their own Final Fantasy in terms of an important JRPG console exclusive.
Agreed, this is pretty horrific. I don't think I'd be able to sleep if I happened to glance at this before turning my lights out.
... Nice ass though.
Quit with the fanboy crap. Crysis 2 looked a little better on 360, with a slightly higher resolution than the PS3 version which is a well-known and proven fact, but both versions were sub-HD and in general didn't match the best looking console games such as Uncharted 2, Killzone 3, and God Of War III. Crysis 1 will probably be the same way. If Crytek can get the framerate locked to an unwavering 30fps, I'd be impressed. Crysis 2 on consoles felt clunky and sluggish due to almost never...
This game looks fantastic and original. Day one purchase.
It's upscaled to but isn't natively 720p dumbass.
God Of War III runs at 60fps and looks a lot better than Battlefield 3 on consoles. Hell it's still the best looking console game out there in my eyes.
The PS3 version cannot logically be lacking anything, since it's impossible to have save data from ME1 due to Microsoft owning the game. There was never an opportunity to add what it's apparently lacking. The PS3 version will be the best that it can possibly be given the circumstances. It would be a different story if the 360/PC versions had exclusive DLC, but based on BioWare's history with ME2 DLC, it's easy to predict that all DLC for ME3 will be released on all platforms s...
I guess if you like to be a moron and toss your PS3 into the back of your open truck and drive to your buddy's place across town after drinking half a 26er of Jack, then a PlayStation base vault is for you.
If it's good enough for Uncharted, it's good enough for me.
I loved all four Onimusha games on PS2. Each one felt a little different. I've been waiting since last gen for Onimusha 5.
I take it you've never played Mass Effect 2. Jack doesn't follow the female stereotypes that this article suggested Epic were conforming to.
Jack from Mass Effect 2 would kick Marcus Fenix' ass.
Graphics are alright, art is neat, and the newest trailer with the Filter cover of Happy Together was cool. I mean, Bethesda put their name on it so it must be go... Oh wait, almost forgot about Rogue Warrior. I'll need to see some reviews for this one before I'm willing to drop $60.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss is a launch title unless I'm mistaken. I love how it looks better than many PS3 and 360 games and it's on a handheld. I love Sony.
If you get an error you just need to go back and go forward again and eventually it'll load. I've got the InFamous 2 demo downloading in the background while I'm browsing PSone Classics right now!
My point is that singleplayer is bound to be even more impressive, and I'm sure we'll get a massive gameplay blowout at E3 much like we did with Uncharted 2. Singleplayer is always better looking than multiplayer, and the multiplayer here already takes the graphics king throne.
Considering one play is supposed to take 20 hours, two plays will be different and a total of around 40 hours. Day one purchase, and I'm betting it'll be a game of the year contender.
So long as it's not a contrived money grab.
