I love that there is a new character, but the price is a little bit of a deterrent. However, IF you consider that Blizzard has been supporting this game with free content and updates for the longest then MAYBE it's an easier pill to swallow when it comes time to purchase this new character. Maybe set everything up and have your brother or friend actually press the button to purchase it. :)

Dragons Dogma was and IS an amazing game. Whatever gripes I had with the base game were answered in part with Dark Arisen. I would love a full fledged sequel NOT a multiplayer only game.
I've played hundreds of games in my life and this one ranks as one of the best experiences.
I didn't care for the cutscenes but the game although unorthodox was still satisfying for me.
So when they gonna have some real BC games? 90% of their BC catalogue is their stuff or stuff no one cares about OTHER THAN COD (sigh).
So, where are the Kingdoms of Amalur? The Red Factions and the Binary Domains?
Why are they adding VR? How about fixing things and making additions to the base game. Hell include a few more chapters rather than VR and first person mode.
I hate to compare but by contrast, it also has games in my opinion that are more in demand and it's easier to pay 434 (with tax US) than 534 (I'm estimating same tax). Guess it boils down to less money, trusted and test platform with an outstanding game library. Or 100 dollars more for an unproven machine, with a not so great library of games.

Half a grand, for a machine that is unproven. No idea if all games will run native 4k at 60fps.
Questionable value in their gaming library? They've just been trumped by other developers. I can't see value for dollar at this time. Maybe in a few years, I can revisit this.

I like Monster Hunter and I'll probably be picking this up sooner or later but I don't think it will be a must buy day one for me. I hope this has a strong Single player campaign because if it's purely multiplayer then I won't be picking it up.
I'm absolutely interested in playing this. However, I am concerned that the game will be heavy on story and feeble on game mechanics. I'll approach this cautiously.

I get what the premises of this were. Some kind of physical record of games you played and beaten. Rather than a just nostalgia, you had this record of your gaming life.

Yup. Lots of explosions and crap and Terry Crews. Besides NONE of the cool features will be in the single player. So this was the segment in MS conference where I got up and went to take a leak.
I just hope Sony honors what they state on the store page. Those that have Uncharted Digital get this for free.
