There are sooo many excellent aspects in the game its hard to give them all credit. Best factors IMO would be the variety of play styles supported and the large amount of easte eggs. My roomate and I played through at the same time on hard for a first playthrough and we would compare notes after stages. Hard to believe that the most qualified person to be the mayor of a town is a 19 year old youth.
