I enjoyed the first game. Although it was extremely short and the graphics were sub-par something about it kept my attention and was enjoyable :)
I just watch the video. I hope those are in-game rendered. If so, this game looks like a totally different beast from its predecessor from just a few years ago.
Also am i the only one who thinks they should have made the box art etc. more USA themed?

As far as im concerned its get exactly the amount of hype it deserves (up to this point).
We dont know much about the game, we have seen very little gameplay that is relevant to the story or game modes of the game.
Everyone seems to be very interested in the game because it looks very different, very unique, very colorful, and attractive. Most of us are intrigued by it, and as such, it has as much hype behind it now as it should.
We will see ...
I saw some live streams of watching PS4 version on the PS4 "Live With Playstion" App.
...Did not look very visually impressive on those live streams even given that it was compressed down to 720p-ish, this looks a little better.
the gameplay still seemed kinda new, interesting, and fun.
we'll see how things turn out.

I was unsure if they were going to reach it... its so interesting how fast/ effective crowd sourcing can be.
It was also weird watching the amount funded rise slightly every few seconds/minutes.

Loading into the App is much much faster. Launching into a game is also faster than PS3.
Id say PS Now on the PS4 is very very usable. Where as on the PS3 im not sure i would ever use it because its just too slow. My PS3 in generall feels way to slow anymore when compared to my PS4. Especially if they continue to improve on speed and stability, and put out a huge library of games.. Sony should hit a gold mine. This *should* become the netflix of gaming.
